And what does it mean that Assad from Syria is now going to meet with Un, too? And Trump is working to have a meeting with Putin . . .

. . . seems to me that Putin is doing a fine job of manipulating all of his international assets, and Trump is ready to get a pat on the head from his boss after he attends his meeting with Un, brokered by Putin of course . . . only to be met rudely with Putin's disappointment and further demands to impose on the world via Trump's imperial presidency.

I didn't know that Rudy is so stupid. Even if Kim does what Rudy says, which I doubt, you don't want to say such things in public. That can certainly undermine the meeting, especially if Kim is as thin-skinned as Trump is. What an infantile buffoon Rudy is! My son-in-law, who is a New Yorker, used to adore Rudy because of the way he handled 911. I should ask him what he thinks of that buffoon now.

BTW, his name is Kim Jong Un. In eastern Asia, Kim is his family name and Jong Un his given name. As such, he should be called "Kim Jong Un", Kim, or "Jong Un" but never Un. That's my understanding.

Thanks. I generally know that, but IIRC his father's name was Kim Jong-il, so the distinction is in the last part of the name, sort of like the distinction between "HW" and "W".

Kim has already achieved what his grand-dad, Dad have all failed in the last 45 years.

With every photo of him with a POTUS splashed across the world, will only elevate him to a status never achieved before. The optics of a relative kid sitting next to the septuagenarian POTUS on equal standing can never be underestimated in an Asian context too.

Now everything else he gets out of this; like a small lifting of some sanctions for some nebulous promise of verification will be the sprinkles on a cake.
