Just spent some time watching these videos. It would do some people well to watch these (especially the second one), because they’re constantly getting a lot of these facts wrong. Almost daily here.

I knew things are better under Biden but I didn't realize how much better and across so many categories: GDP, change in GDP (better than all other G7 countries), Dow average, labor force participation rate, new business applications, manufacturing production, average hourly earnings (now outpacing inflation), disposal personal income, crude oil production (we now produce more crude oil than any other nation in history), renewable power generation, unemployment (25 straight months below 4%, first time that's happened in over 50 years), and violent crime down sharply.

Biden’s “I’ma capitalist” routine is particular disgusting. Whenever he claims that he’s a capitalist the next words out of his mouth show he has no clue what a capitalist even is.
And then he tells us how government can build an economy “from the bottom up and inside out.”. News flash: No government has successfully built an economy in the history of the world. Scores of socialists have tried and they all fail. Only people free to do economic things can build an economy. Government can and should protect and enable people to build an economy, but it can’t build it with public economic plans, public budgets, or public laws.

Those videos are misleading because they only show gross averages. What’s good might be better, but what’s bad is getting worse. Most economically hurting people spend a very large percentage of income on food and shelter. Those costs are out of control, but the devastating impacts are masked by averaging those costs with massive other data. Crime is similar. Workers look at unskilled migrants getting free food, shelter, and gift cards and ask WTF? The poor worker who has loans for tools and a pickup watches baristas getting their student loans paid off and ask WTF? Biden has no answers.
We know what all the unnecessary stimulus did to prices. We know that the Dems want to do that again and that Covid was a pretense. We know the Dems supported defunding/bail programs etc. Anything that becomes a benefit is only a consequence of getting away from Biden’s and the dem’s desires

You're right that Biden is for preserving and strengthening things like social security, medicaid and the ACA. And he should be. Trump just told CNBC that he's interested in looking at cutting all of those things. Good luck running on all that.

It’s a philosophical difference. What Biden wants in creating the largest social safety net in history with cradle to grave programs engenders both big gov and a culture reared on gov aid. It’s a culture of poverty. Tether the foregoing with redistribution you add resentment and disincentivize production/dreams etc. For me that’s the biggest danger to our country

Russia only gets stronger if they succeed in Ukraine. Putin will face more and more criticism from within if the war continues to stall. As long as Ukraine holds up, Russia weakens, and the future for NATO and US dominance strengthens.
Economic ties between the US and a non-aggressive Russia in the future without dictator Putin could still be a possibility to work toward. All that disappears if Russia sacks Ukraine and all their resources.
France, Germany, and Poland are pledging more support for Ukraine. That’s good news for NATO. which probably wouldn’t have happened if Biden got his way last fall.
I didn’t know Trump had so much in common with Biden.
It would be nice if Biden would channel Trump with more important issues.
