Vermin

I don't think who the President is has much of an effect on our day-to-day lives, to be honest.
i used to believe that until biden and this batch of dems. now i think it's important. president didn't bear much on my life really (at least perceived) under clinton, bush, obama. i just voted dem sort of blindly. tort reform - but that's mostly a state deal anyway. it's not as much actual policy as rhetoric, narrative, and influence. from the covid virtue signaling that gave credence to extended home schooling and business closures, to the attacks on police that led to unprecedented depletions in police forces, to all of the covid free cheese from trump to biden that impacted the lives of so many i know. the actions and rhetoric of federal politicians impacted local decisions and touched our day to day lives imo. i can't imagine if biden had gotten his wish to be the most transformative president in history.

these last three years politicians had a material impact on my daughter and my business. directly.

so this time i want someone incapable of getting much done or just uninterested in getting much done. trump's a narcissistic pos. there's no one who can deny that. by i have zero doubt trump will have a far less impactful affect on my life then more of the biden crowd would

If there's an afterlife, when other souls find out you're an American, they will ask you how you voted in 2016, and if you say, "Trump," they'll shake their little incorporeal heads in a show of sadness and pity. For all of eternity.

And those who voted for him in 2020?

Deciding factor for me is which one actually respects democracy. Without that, we're on a downward spiral we won't escape.

Trump calling his opponents "vermin" is another on a long list of examples of his disrespect for Americans who don't support him.

Biden has taken some steps down that path and I'd prefer to see him removed for that. But Trump is 10 times worse.
Fvck Democracy!
Our form of self rule is a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC!

I don't think who the President is has much of an effect on our day-to-day lives, to be honest. I'm not saying it's meaningless. I just don't think it's as big of a deal as we all make it out to be. Our country survived Trump, it's surviving Biden, and it will survive Trump again.

The main problem with Trump is that his election is an historical embarrassment. For the rest of the history of humanity, it will say in the history books that we, the voters, did that. We looked at a man who stood on stage in a presidential nominating debate, and assured voters his dick was just fine, thank you very much, and we said, "Get me some of that." Because we're stupid. Maybe the stupidest country on Earth. If there's an afterlife, when other souls find out you're an American, they will ask you how you voted in 2016, and if you say, "Trump," they'll shake their little incorporeal heads in a show of sadness and pity. Yep. Getting ready to do a lot of travel next year. Once they find out we are Americans, the number one question will be about Trump and how it could happen.

Yes... I always get asked... "how did you elect such an awful man?"

Happened in London, Paris, Dublin, Rome, Budapest, Amsterdam, Geneva, Seoul....

The Democrats are amplifying “vermin” and imputing something Nazi to it. . The facts are Biden and Democrats are wanting to appease 21st century Nazis wileTrump got in their face, conspicuously sided with the Jews, and actually killed a modern high-ranking Nazi.

They have their own house to clean up.

I don’t think I’ll ever vote for Trump(I haven’t yet), but the only way I’d ever even consider it is if he’s running against Biden.
OMG I remember 2016. I voted for Trump. I knew something was wrong with the Hillary obama BS. I had a meeting the next morning and I knew those guys prolly wanted Trump too. We all sat there and nobody said a word. We didn't need too. We knew the wicked witch was dead!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was the best morning I can remember politically since I've been alive. Phenom! Like you had your first kid I walked on a cloud for a week.

Why would you care what they think? I have played soccer with guys from all over the world. The vast majority are desperate to stay here. Over London, Paris, Dublin, Croatia, etc

Secretary of State Jared Kushner. How awesome will that be?

And the best part is, he’s earned far more trust than anyone should ever put in the Obama/ Biden foreign policy establishment.
No, SOS would probably be the Mypillow Guy. How fun would that be. I think Stormy Daniels would also have a prominent place in Trump's cabinet (they will have made up by then). Trump's second term would be a load of laughs. Might as well yuk it up as the country is flushed down the toilet. And Jared's trust, you can be assured he will take more trips to the middle east to suck millions out of MBS. Strange how he got 3 million for his new hedge fund the last trip even though his background is in real estate, and he has zero experience as a fund manager. I guess it's all that trust he's accumulated.

Because it gets embarrassing when they think your whole country is stupid. I remember a really long taxi ride in 2016 where the driver wanted to talk about politics. We all promised him there was no way Trump would get elected. First we get hit with the ugly Americans, from people who don’t know how to travel, then we get this. Those guys may want to stay here, but I doubt it has anything to do with Trump.

I’m proud to be American. And I don’t care at all what people in other countries think. At all.

I totally disagree. I think he would start off with the normal climate paris treaty BS and move on to every executive order Joe dipshit created. Then get energy back, the border, yada yada. Then immediately go into foreign policy. Dude showed us he is unafraid to dive into enemy territory. Then prolly deal with this abortion BS. Guess what, he will leave it up to the states which is where it should be. Then start peace treaties.

Along the way in there somewhere is getting rid of this VERMIN that has infected our country! From antifa, to hamas, to ms13, to whatever else is a threat. GET THEM OUT!!!

Heres my take...Buy an island, get one violent crime...rehab, get 2... jailtime, get 3... go to an island and you cannot come back.

Time to make some changes.

It is very educational to get a world view perspective

none of the people I met think the USA is a bad place, either. They are just bewildered as to how a Trump could ever get elected.

I’m proud to be American, too. I don’t care at all what dumb people think, whatever country they are from. Unless we are voting in the same election and somebody might believe their bullshit.

Europe is and has been on the decline. Their opinions on anything besides good cheeses and wines should quickly be discarded. Not to mention, they dress terrible and like soccer.

Constitutional republic? Self-rule? Ha! Try "strongman regime" if the Nazi-talker gets back in.
I'm tired of seeing conservatives throwing that out as some sort of defense of Trump, as though he cares about the Constitution and will follow it.

Yeah, but as I see it, it's not "conservatives." There are plenty of clear-thinking, reasonable, good conservatives out there. It's the far-righties like this guy, ftw, coh, danc, etc., who are a couple cans short of a six-pack.

Look at the guy you're responding to. He starts his post with "Fvck Democracy!" That's very telling. Not only does he deny the existence of a representative democracy in the US, he hates the very concept.

Trump is the guy who proposed "terminating the Constitution." The morons probably don't know that because the Gateway Pundit didn't cover it. Trump will trample all over the Constitution in a second term. How do I know that? Because, in so many words, he's already said so.

There won't be any people like General Kelly, General Mattis or General Milley in a Trump second term - - smart, reasonable, patriotic guys to keep him in check. He's going to surround himself with nothing but loyalists and yes-men.

But, for Mas and others, that's great. They're fine with a strongman regime, as long as it's their strongman.

There are several books about the creation of our Constitutional Republic.
I have a copy of The Federalist Papers I would be happy to send you in a brown paper wrapped, no return addy package.

Muslim Brotherhood ruled countries, such as Turkey, love their 'democracies '...
One man...
One vote...
One time...

Per the good example of Trump's great friend on amending the Russian constitution this will likely be our future:

How hard is it to say STFU and drive when you're in a foreign country? Just spitballing here , but I think you enjoy it.

Why would you want to tell them to STFU if they are asking an honest question, and not in a rude way at all?

I recall that I asked many a Brit to help me understand the popularity of the Brexit decision.

You need to meet people outside of your little bubble and talk to them. I honestly feel that there would be a lot less hate in this world if people more frequently interacted with citizens of other countries, cultures, religions, socioeconomic classes, etc.

Travel and open dialogue opens your eyes and your mind.

Right. Pardon me if I don’t want to perpetuate the Ugly American overseas that we often richly deserve. You try that though and see what kind of service you’ll get.

No, it won’t.
Why not? American exceptionalism? Land of the free and home of the brave? Don't be naive. We're already a democracy in decline. Trump will complete the process.

We held on in 2020/2021 only because Trump didn't have every key slot filled with loyalists. He won't make that mistake in a second term.

He's already told us what he's going to do in a second administration. You must not be paying attention.
