Were the Charleston, Sandy Hook, OK City, CO Theater, Columbine, VA Tech, Olympic Park, et al. suspects all named Muhammad? Wasn't aware of that. Stupid act, stupid comment. Let's put those NY Times numbers into context:
99% of the non-Muslim population is responsible for 48 extremist-related deaths since 9-11.
1% of the Muslims are responsible for 26 (soon to be 30, after today) deaths.
In other words, if the rest of the U.S. population terrorized us the way the Muslims* do, we could expect about 2600 deaths. Instead we get....48.
