You said he posted that because he thought Kaufman would go elsewhere and you said there was a lot of iu buzz. Here’s the next couple paragraphs after that comment you quoted

Seems pretty consistent with what happened. Christie, Ingram, Cleveland, and Wesley weren't happening and Kaufman committed. Looks like a Purdue lead start to finish in that recruitment and Peegs, rabjohns, and snow looked foolish after once again giving false hope
