Jack Smith was granted a subpoena for Trump's suspended Twitter account, and Twitter apparently has turned over data.

What can Smith learn from a suspended Twitter account? For example, could he get drafts of Tweets that were never posted? Could he identify the person who actually posted a Tweet on Trump's behalf (assuming Trump didn't actually do it himself)? Can he get private messages sent through Twitter?

Of course it's there. Everything is in a database. The only difference between a Tweet and one in Drafts is a 1 in a column instead of a 0.

A prosecutor/talking head I saw the other night said there was a lot of data that can be used besides the Tweets themselves. She said most importantly they can confirm the specific device (by MAC ID) that was used and the location (by IP). That way they can deal with claims that the person in question did or didn't send the Tweet. Saved but unsent drafts are available of course.
