We have a president that obviously committed campaign election law violations. And it was done to influence the results of his presidential election. And the pub response is... crickets. Or even worse, defending him (looking at you Orrin Hatch).

And this article doesn’t even discuss the OTHER case of apparent campaign finance law violations, which involves AMI now admitting that they used a “catch and kill” tactic to silence a story about a second woman Trump paid off before another story broke about his infidelities. In both the Cohen charges and the AMI charges, both groups admit that they did it to influence the election in Trump’s favor. At HIS direction.

Some might point to the John Edwards case, in which he was charged with the same crime, but wasn’t convicted. That was a little different in that the intent wasn’t 100% proven. In these two cases, you’ve got the folks involved in the actions admitting that it was done at Trump’s direction, specifically to help influence the election in his favor. In other words, it’ll be much easier to prove the intent of Trump if he is implicated.

The last (and maybe only other) president to be named as an unindicted co-conspirator was... Richard Nixon. And like now, the Republican Party really didn’t care, until evidence made them care.

Just another example of what we’ve discussed on this board recently. If a dem president was involved in 1/100 of this crap, he would’ve already been facing impeachment charges/hearings. Yeah, that’s kind of a whatabout. But it’s true in this case.

Where’s the outrage from the right? Or does Mueller have to pull out the hammer (report) before some surfaces?

Again, thank god for the free press. They’ve been working tirelessly to help us not normalize what’s going on right now.

But, but.... he did all that before he was the president. And he has had a blowby repentance via Pence's Christian aura a few months ago.
