I did. I was struck by how shallow and insubstantial the KMOV piece was with a final conclusion like
Meanwhile, cops tell News 4 that even some suspects are saying, ‘Oh, it’s no big deal, I will just be PAW’ed.”
And in fact, from our review of the list, there are some people who have been arrested, released, arrested again for a different crime and released again.
And? I'm certain that a person as well-versed as you in these issues isn't confusing that with a thoughtful examination of them.
I was likewise curious about the link about Kim Gardner supported your contentions of how simple crime is, particularly with its focus on Gardner pressing ahead with prosecuting an African-American man in a bank robbery case where law enforcement thought he shouldn't be prosecuted and money quotes like,
"Former Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce says critics don't understand the complexity of leading the city's prosecutors.
The complexity of the circuit attorney's job is nearly impossible to understand until you actually are the circuit attorney, Jennifer Joyce says."
It sounds like Gardner is struggling, but not necessarily in the ways that you seem to believe the article would suggest.
So, I'd love if you would explain the details of "Cori Bush/Squad policy" and how "dangerous" is defined and calculated in the stat that you offer. I've never significant policy details from "The Squad" (I suspect mostly because I don't think they understand the issue well enough to offer details), so if you have them and can expound on the pros and cons of them in some detail, that would be awesome.
Of course, that would involve some complexity. :>)
