Trump Org and CFO charged

Trump bragged on Howard Stern's show about intentionally walking in on teenage beauty pageant contestants, some were as young as 15.

Intentionally walking in to try to see them nude.

15 year olds.

Biden and Trump aren't close alright.

Trump was given 413 million by his daddy to get started in business.

....and speaking of college, Fat Boy paid someone to take his SAT's.

He's a piece of shit. End of story. I'm not surprised you're a fan.

Also, why not address Trump creating a fake university to defraud Americans? Did that happen or not?

Or how about you address Trump stealing from his own charitable foundation and getting it permanently closed?

You approve of that, right?

You forget about him bragging about sexual assault? He is the perfect specimen

If that's not enough (yet), what would it take for you?
Mark, it’s bullshit. Yes the exec owes the tax but they don’t prosecute this stuff. All political. Why do you think dumped it before holiday weekend?

I don't follow.
dual sovereignty. while the feds fiddle fart around and weigh whether doj should pursue trump (a move that will have national political consequences) a state (where the damage actually largely occurred) can pursue trump and his organization on its own.

Yea they have more. Lol. Sure, drop the opening salvo of nothingbuger before holiday weekend.

So there's a point to them charging on the Wednesday and unsealing on the Thursday before July 4th weekend?

Yesterday the Trumper spinners were prepping us for a "nothingburger", saying it would be all about misusing company copiers, padding expense reports, and other nits.

Instead, we got big ticket items: luxury cars, fancy apartments, tuition payments, etc

Quite a SOMETHINGburger.

Accompanied by lies that such charges are never criminal and always are civil. See Leona Helmsley, real estate developer and "Queen of Mean". She did time. Her husband was too feeble to stand trial, IIRC

It’s nothing. Fringe benefits. Executives all over the country better make sure they’re paying taxes on that fancy company car they’re driving home at night.

See prosecution of Real estate moguls the Helmsleys. Leona did time for less. I recall that some of the charges against her were picky things like buying party dresses with company money

Shouldn't they have been already? Maybe we see a problem with the system overall?

You've always claimed to have such high standards of honesty and integrity in your practice and refused to engage in sketchy schemes. Have you had a change of heart?

nah. they'll be fine. they didn't do anything to draw attention to themselves or piss off people with the motivation and means to get em. if i was in trump's inner circle when he announced his candidacy i would have been shitting bricks knowing all of this stuff. had he never been president and alienated and pissed off certain people i believe you're right - this would be civil shit. companies have done far, far worse and never had it turn criminal. not tax shit but damn what did boeing get for fraud and conspiracy that killed hundreds: deferred prosecution or something? paging igw

LOL. So if they'd done it last week, or next week, it would be a different story? Is that where you're making your stand?
The guy owes the tax. I am guessing over the years these cases end up with the taxpayer paying the tax, interest and penalty.

I usually have a argument with new clients when I tell them they have to give us business and personal miles on company cars so we can include the personal use in their wages.

Maybe this turns out to be much more than company cars. We will see.

Yes I bet it’s a problem in the system. All those executives driving to the Hamptons in company cars tonight might be worrying tonight.

I take that back. Republican executives, not democrats.

Leona deserved what she got. If I have clients mixing business and personal I give them the details of what Leona was doing. She was running construction and other expenses on her personal homes through the hotel business as hotel expenses. Out and out fraud that she should have been prosecuted for.

Many folks think their company cars are always business. At a minimum the trip to and from the office is personal.

It looks like it is a Merc, a rent free apartment, and private school tuition. The Fed's estimate 1.7 million to the main minion. Is that a lot, in other words would someone getting $10,000 be likely to face a fine but 1.7 million, that is a new world of hurt. I don't know, to me that sounds like a lot of money. But maybe people regularly fail to report that amount without issue.

Tax, interest and penalty over 15 years adds up in a hurry.

Will be interesting to see the details of what income amounts were under reported, actual tax, interest and penalty.

Not likely. Maybe there is a reason he’s losin his business.

Overall, the indictment said, Weisselberg failed to pay taxes on approximately $100,000 in compensation per tax year from 2005 through 2017. In that time period, the Trump Organization provided Weisselberg roughly $1,174,018 in untaxed income in connection to the rent, utility, and garage expenses.

I’m so glad we all got to witness the matrimony of @IU_Hickory and @plaxico80. What a match made in heaven. Good grief - the critical thinking ability of your love child would have it drinking from nippled bottles until the age of 32.

This is the song playing when you two post together.

It's cute to watch this cocknozzle dodge questions.

I'm sorry. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Are you suggesting that the Manhattan DA is somehow disappointed with this indictment - - - that this is as good as it gets - - and unsealed it today with the hope that no one would notice, or quickly forget about it? That's absurd.

This was leveraged by the DA for maximum news coverage today, which it most definitely received.

And if you think Weisselberg is the ultimate target of this lengthy investigation, you couldn't be more mistaken. The Manhattan DA charged Weisselberg first with the expectation that he'll flip and shore up the case against the big guy. Frankly, I'm not sure they need Weisselberg because this will be primarily a documents case, but Weisselberg can make it easier because he knows where the bodies are buried and can connect the dots.

Trump will be indicted later this summer or fall on multiple counts of fraud in connection with the overvaluing and undervaluing of assets. Take it to the bank.

Let's quickly review the status of Trump's inner circle. His longtime lawyer/fixer Michael Cohen has already been indicted, convicted and served time. His lawyer/election fraud spokesman Rudy Giuliani just had his law license suspended and is under criminal investigation. Now his CFO has been indicted on multiple counts of felony fraud. Trump's next.

I certainly hope you’re right but I doubt all of that.

Does the executive also get a Mercedes for his wife, too? It's NYC. You aren't exactly doing business on Park Avenue from your car. Hilarious.

Out of control. Can't wait to see the goodies for Ivanka, Jared, Don Jr., Eric... they might fill a whole wing of a fancy jail. Where did Martha Stewart serve her time?

Maybe New York will open a Trump Tower and penitentiary. Orange jumpsuits might clash with 45's pancake make-up.

In 1988, real estate investor Harry Helmsley and his wife, Leona, were convicted of evading $1.2 million in federal taxes. They had billed Helmsley businesses for personal expenses ranging from her underwear to $3 million worth of renovations to their Connecticut estate.

That was not a political witch hunt, either.

It is nice to see law breakers get their just desserts, despite their wealth and power.
You'll be glad to see Biden behind bars then, since he lied about not knowing about Hunter's 'business' deals and using his Vice Presidential influence to get the Biden crime family huge payouts.
