The Big Lie was even crazier than we knew...

He's in deep.

I'm too lazy to research but if he was convicted of something could he still run for president?

You are a modern day Oracle at Delphi, at least in your own estimation. And not just on HVAC, epidemiology, business, law... not you're the Stephen Hawking of foreign affairs

Please continue to dispense your wisdom to us, the unwashed masses. ;)
I had a good chuckle reading that post. 90% of the posters on here think they are experts on most things.

My greatest concern was realized a long time ago - when the IRS targeted Conservative groups and the FBI participated, with the Democrat party, in the attempted coup of a legitimately-elected President.

As usual you go with the orthodoxy of the Party, but never bother to follow up with actual developments, which of course the Party is content to ignore...

The fact is that the Treasury Dept IG released a report in Oct 2017 which basically refuted the claims that "Conservative groups" were exclusively targeted, when it came to IRS scrutiny of 501-C groups applying for tax exempt status. What they discovered that the screening applied just as much to "liberal groups", or in fact any organization using particular keywords...

"What is new now? The original claim was that the filters that the IRS's tax-exempt organizations unit had used were biased against right-wing groups. Now, it turns out that even that was not true. In addition to keywords like "tea party," the unit was also looking for words like "occupy," "progressive," and "green energy."

Actually, that information is not new. We have known for years that the IRS was using both left- and right-oriented search terms, but this report provides exhaustive documentation of that fact."

It wasn't political ideology the IRS was "searching for". It was groups engaged in political activity who were trying to claim the 501-C exemption. Both on the Left and the Right...
How’s it coming for you guys in Ukraine?

As long as Trump keeps selling the Big Lie, his ignorant minions will buy it.

Speaking of ignorance, the country is becoming dumber. The US Department of Education reports that 54% of Americans ages 16 to 74 have reading capability at below a sixth grade level. There's a growing strain of anti-intellectualism, with educated people increasingly perceived as pompous, elite and out of touch. Fewer young adults, particularly men, are attending college.

If someone isn't a proficient reader, they're more susceptible to misinformation and conspiracy theories - - like the myth of widespread voter fraud. They'll quickly latch onto an unverified claim or video on social media, or buy into the bullshit of a popular podcaster.

I remember when Trump professed, during his first campaign, "I love the poorly educated." It's no wonder. If power is your only goal, solidifying your base among the poorly educated is not very difficult and makes a lot of tactical sense.

Blah blah ****ing blah blah blah blah.

Media claimed a year ago he'd be in jail. Seen any charges? Oh! But just wait! The New York AG is really ready to file charges. No, really. This time for sure!

You'd think after 5 years of looking like a dope, you'd stop being bamboozled by panic headlines. But no, you keep passing rumors and innuenco as fact.

Wake me up when you morons actually have something of substance.
Your posts/trolls show there is no way in hell you will ever be awakened, or alert, or informed, or on top of things.

As Machiavelli said, the best way to determine how well your side is doing is to watch how your opponents react to your actions. Trump (your side) went bonkers this week siccing his supporters and minions to create trouble in the same, specific locations where prosecutors are investigating Trump. What a coincidence that Trump picked those places out of all the other places in the country !!

Gee whiz !! I wonder why Trump felt compelled to send his supporters to those locations. Sure appears that Trump felt threatened and called in his minions/troops/rioters.

Enlighten us, DANC -- why else did Trump make these references ? (I really hope you say you don't know.). Machiavelli would know why.

You spend that much time trashing me, but produce no hard evidence.

What's that you guys always say about the election? Oh yeah, no judge ruled there was any voter fraud.

Why don't you hold yourselves to the same standard for Trump? I'll tell you why - you're all classic hypocrites and have TDS so bad you will grasp at any straw, no matter how weak, to try to take him down.

My question would be does he still get secret service protection and would they have to put extra bunks in the cell?
All that aside, he’s a former president. He’ll never be convicted of anything no matter what evidence comes to light.

You're getting ahead of yourself there, buttercup. Before you're convicted you have to be charged.

No charges, ergo no conviction. Take another xanax.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I do follow the same standard for Trump.

Trump challenged the election in more than 60 court cases. Every single one of his cases was rejected for lack of evidence. I'm well within my rights to point out that, 13 months after the election, Trump has found no evidence that the election was stolen or even that the election results in any state were significantly affected by irregularities.

As yet, no case against Trump has yet been filed. If a case is filed against Trump and he is acquitted (criminal) or if a damage suit is filed against him and he wins a defense verdict (civil) then I will acknowledge it.

Your refusal to answer my question in Post 248
tells me I'm right -- Trump, a guy who avoids anything that makes him look weak, is in fact acting weak, thrashing about with random accusations against his investigators like he's trying to hit the piñata at a birthday party. Poor Trump. He's obviously worried. I sincerely hope you are sending large contributions to Trump.

You can't even see your own hypocisy.

Where are the charges against Trump? And FYI - media rumors are not charges.

I saw where this is coming out in a documentary this Spring.

I'm getting my popcorn ready.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wait -- this spring ?? They think this is so important and irrefutable that they're waiting another 2-3 months (about 15 months after the election) to tell the world all about it ??

No wonder the right-wingers lost the election and then lost all their court challenges. They don't know how to do anything except make vague allegations and then claim the allegations were proven if someone doesn't contradict them right away. That video doesn't even say which state those supposed surveillance images occurred in or how many "ballots" are supposedly being deposited.

Then what is Trump worried about? Trump and you both are acting terrified of these reports. I find that encouraging.

I guess you'll have to watch the documentary.

It does take a while to gather evidence and create a documentary. It's not like you and your fanboy followers on the internet where you just point a camera and perform.

Bless your ignorant little heart. Maybe I could have taught you not to be a sycophant to an ignorant, criminal used car salesman.

Wow ! See this is the example and no, you wouldn't have taught me anything I didn't know already. Sycophant? Is that a word you toss around in your classes?

LOL. I'll eat my shoe if you've ever used Steinbeck as anything other than a coaster.

But if you want to see what kind of league Zeke plays in, we have a 1,500-post thread for the literate.

You seem like an insecure man. Always talking about how superior you are. Do you drive a lifted truck or a Corvette?

No doubt you'd beat him badly in Wordle.

Out of my league? Not likely. Literature is exactly my league. Care to be friends on Goodreads? You can even see my reviews. And before you assume, I detest chick lit.
