The Big Lie was even crazier than we knew...

My comment was that you repeatedly whitewash Trump's unprecedented misconduct as president. You do it in every thread in which he's mentioned, including this one. Here, you've stated his conduct hasn't damaged the country. You've also made the laughable claim that the current administration has done more to damage election integrity than Trump can ever do. Finally, you've made the ridiculous suggestion that the reaction to the Trump presidency has been more damaging than Trump himself.

Your extreme partisanship and fealty to Trump have caused you to lose any semblance of objectivity. But you clearly have no awareness of that, so enjoy life in your little cocoon of denial and delusion. I'm sure you're safe and comfortable there.
Holy crap man, grab some oxygen and give your brain a chance to catch up. No wonder simple things escape you.

hardly nonsense. They are trying to limit options on how people can vote with no evidence of actual fraud that they are supposedly addressing. Polling locations per capita is much worse in big cities vs out in the country so making everyone vote in person on voting day will tend to lead to longer lines in big cities where dems tend to have an advantage. Longer lines deter voting.

but yea, i am sure the gop didn’t think of that with their bogus law changes.
So having to drive/get transportation to a place to vote faster vs walking to and having to wait a bit is different in what way?

He wasn't even talking to you, Pops. He's the second poster you have invited to meet up with you in the last couple of weeks. This isn't a dating site, you know.
Your inferiority complex is kicking in strong today, and it's still early. This place may be too much for you, Pops.

A couple of questions.

1. How is a draft executive order that was never issued an indicator of anything? Drafts of documents aren’t even subject to FIOA requests in Colorado. Drafts are nothingburgers.

2. If January 6 was an attempted insurrection, what would a successful insurrection look like and did the January 6 rioters have the ability to carry out such an insurrection?

What’s weird to me is the huge overreaction to January 6 which overreaction is now programmed into the Democratic mind.
Wow. The largest criminal investigation in US history is nothingburger? By the way, this guy was put in charge by Trump:

Threatening GA Secretary of State because he didn't "find" 11,000 votes for him to flip Georgia? Planning to confiscate voting machines?

The Oathkeepers?

This was absolutely an attempted coup,

Good grief. You are talking about how awful, crude, and partisan the GOP is and you post about licking Trump’s balls. Pathetic.

That is COH doing his "Look over there !!!" gambit when he doesn't have anything on point. Don't fall for it.

I literally laughed out loud at your "dating site" comment. Thanks.

The guy's posting at 3am so he's probably on a bender and doesn't know which way is up.

Have you heard the latest? Gingrich said yesterday that members of the Jan 6 committee may be jailed if the GOP gains control of Congress in 2022. Unbelievable.

Color me shocked. Wonder if he has made his trip to Mar a lago to kiss Trump's ring yet.

Have you not followed how Cray lives? I suspect he could make all you whiny Lefties' ears touch if you met him at the pawn shop or bar or wherever.

As an aside this would be the worst dating site ever. You'd only need a swipe left option

I feel like 'jailing political opponents simply for being political opponents' is red meat for the MAGA crowd, but nothing that will actually come into practice. It's an updated version of 'lock her up!'.

But it is pretty wild that a major political party has to cater to morons.

One of your funniest posts ever...and that says a lot (or alot for Aloha).

I've never heard the phrase "make your ears touch". Does that mean what I think it does.

How do we get out of this hyper-partisan rut? I mean, 10 years ago, when sensible civil rights legislation would come up for a vote in the Senate, it would pass 98-2. Nowadays, a vote of whether the sun shines or not would be stuck at 50-50.

You're wasting your time. Republicans are a regimented machine when it comes to the defense of their leader, regardless of their heinous actions. The old saying about a party's candidate, Democrats fall in love, Republicans fall in line, has never been truer.

It's amazing to me that you actually went to law school. You really need to research what Marc Elias and Zuckerberg did in states like Wisconsin, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, etc and tell me this wasn't a fraudulent election. You know nothing about the law or constitution if you say otherwise.

That said, Trump's team was completely asleep. Bill Barr really screwed Trump and it was probably deliberate.

We want to hold our representatives accountable to their citizens but that has only led them to doing whatever it takes to secure re-election.

A realization has been made that it is easier to get re-elected if you can get voters to hate the other side rather than actually do things in office that lead to getting votes. It doesn't matter what you do if you can get the voters to never vote for the other side regardless of what you do. Gives you freedom to not be accountable.

Now that you have your voters hating the other side, it takes never compromising with the evil side no matter what to maintain that. For example, if you have your voters thinking the other side is the socialist devil, then it makes it that much harder to be bipartisan and not get primaried by someone who would not compromise with the enemy.

Zuckerberg allows all kinds of Trump conspiracies to run rampant on facebook. Not sure he is the liberal that you make him out to be ;)

Fess up, danc. I'd bet my last buck you've got a "Trump 2024" sign out front. And probably a "Trump Won!" bumper sticker on your vehicle. Or maybe even "Trump 2020; Cheated, Not Defeated!"
You are such a child.

You can start by stop being hyper-partisan.

I'm not going to keep going back and forth with you, so I'll close with this. Your assumption about my party affiliation couldn't be more wrong. I was a lifelong registered Republican prior to Trump, and am now an independent. I realize that as someone who's walked away from the Republican Party, I'm probably more deplorable in your mind than a "dirty Dim."

Trump was a uniquely awful and destructive president. I have no doubt that history will judge him accordingly. But keep those partisan blinders on, keep on Trumpin', and enjoy life in your alternate reality.
Darn it's amazing the number of people on this forum that were life long Rs but like all the liberal policies. :)

Sure. I'm here talking up Biden and Harris, and all their policies, every day. Right.

Think before you post. And know what you're talking about.

Says someone who most likely supported the bullshit Russian narrative that tried to overthrow a constitutionally elected president.

So for anyone who ever supported that lie can straight get ****ed and your opinion on anything means nothing to me.

Got proof it was a lie? otherwise, gfy

Shooter. Others. No bs.
My daughter is far left. We have a lot of disagreements.

I am for free trade, free market capitalism, the idea America ought not be the world's policeman, that science itself is not some liberal conspiracy, that nobody should say a damn thing about controlling my religion but then again nobody should favor any religion (or religion itself) in public schools other than as part of human history & philosophy, that government ought to be as small as possible, but that a sensible duty of government is to enact legislation that reduces disaparities arising from discrimination on the basis of skin tone, religious belief, sex, etc., that any proposed new spending needs to have a sensible plan to PAY FOR IT...

None of my beliefs were at all in conflict with basic Republican values, until the Cult of 45 took over the GOP. That's why I voted GOP in the presidential races of 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012. I am in a different part of the political Venn diagram now vs. in 2015 because the current GOP cult moved their bubble into goofball land.

Nonsense. You can't separate the person from the policies. Trump's policies are far more in keeping with your purported beliefs than anything Biden/Harris/Squad are pushing. Keep fooling yourself, but remember you have 21,000 posts that belie your writing here; which is probably why you have a rotten Reaction Score to boot.

I mean, it's way more than his policies that are offensive For example of a hundred, he's such a grifter that he is legally barred from fund raising for charities, since when he does that, he steals them blind.

But even focusing on policy, Trump's "policies" were all over the place, and you know it. It's why the GOP couldn't write a party platform in 2020, since they were motivated merely by a will to win an election based on the cult of his personality.

Re "Biden/Harris/Squad" I also don't support "the squad" much at all (other than recognizing climate change as being a real concern), and was glad that Biden squashed them (though I much preferred Pete)

My daughter LOVES the squad. She thinks that Biden is a fool, calls him Trump-lite, and thinks that we all settled for status quo, just a less nutty version of the prior fool.

lol. I don't have issue with the squad. I would have liked Pete though. Biden was just too old. Although anyone with a pulse was better than Trump.

For one shining moment the Pub leadership stiffened their spines and the loonies fell briefly silent... until the propaganda machine got fired up and rolling. It didn't take long for the spines to turn to Jell-O and the loonies to take back the narrative.

You know why they hate Liz Cheney so much, don't you? She has bigger balls than they do and they know it. She shames them every day just by her unwillingness to lick Trump's balls. They wish they could be like her... if only they had the courage.
She doesn't need the money or the connections. She already had them.

Not absolving the ball lickers but both she and Romney can dare to be "mavericks"
