The Big Lie was even crazier than we knew...

The POTUS and congressional full-on attack on all state government election reform laws they disagree with is a serious degradation of principles of federalism and separation of powers. Any infirmity in state law is for the courts to decide. And the DOJ already lost the big case. Biden, Harris, and the congressional leadership have done more to damage our government structure and election integrity than Trump can ever do. And Biden doubled down at his presser. Shameful.
Shit.

No, they are trying to align their laws to limit voting from where they think they have a disadvantage. No different than them gerrymandering the crap out of everything to maintain control.
You mean like Democrats rigging anti-gerrymandering Commissions in states like NY, NJ, CA & MI to draw themselves gerrymandered maps & abusing the court systems to force Democrat favorable maps by judicial fiat?

What is wrong with CA:

“Just because a district looks kind of complicated does not mean it’s gerrymandered,” said Russell Yee, a Republican and the commission's vice-chairman. “Often it’s the most fair, especially given California’s complicated geography, demography.”
...
“I would say this was the most open, most participatory redistricting process in all history," said Yee, the Republican vice-chairman. “In our nation right now where others, unfortunately, in some places have been working to further restrict voting rights and to make redistricting less accessible, we in California here are doing just the opposite.”

Democrats sneaking Planned Parenthood donating Berkeley professors as “GOP” members of the California Commission is a disgrace

Email exchange, disclosed today, between VP Pence's Chief Counsel Greg Jacob and Trump adviser John Eastman, dated January 6, 2021. Eastman was pushing for Pence to stop the certification of the electoral votes. Jacob replied:

"I respect your heart here. I share your concerns about what Democrats will do once in power. I want election integrity fixed. But I have run down every legal trail placed before me to its conclusion, and I respectfully conclude that as a legal framework, it is a results-oriented position that you would never support if attempted by the opposition, and essentially entirely made up. And thanks to your bullshit, we are now under siege.”

To their credit - and I don't think it's hyperbole to say this - Greg Jacob and Mike Pence helped preserve our democracy that day (and the days leading up to it). There are a lot of things to say about Mike Pence, but lucky for us he does seem principled and also appears to be a rule follower to a 'T'. Just imagine if a bootlicker like Kristi Noem, Tim Scott or Nikki Haley was serving as VP at the time.

That said, the end of this article was slightly chilling:

“When this is over, we should have a good bottle of wine over a nice dinner someplace,” Eastman responded later in the chain.

After Jacob raked him over the coals for essentially being a moron willing to blindly do Trump's bidding and torpedo a free and fair election, Eastman essentially shrugged everything off and said let's grab dinner and a bottle of wine when this is over. It's was just a game to him.

Trump is going to win in 2024 for one reason and one reason only. liberals are their own worst enemy.

Fvcking lawyers.

Fvcking lawyers.
Lawyers are like that.

I mentioned that I have been a chemistry expert witness on some cases that went to trial. The last one was particularly nasty and the opposing lawyer tried every trick to try, unsuccessfully, to discredit me. Afterwards, though, he sought me out to shake my hand and he remarked that we should do dinner sometime.

Dude, you were just calling me a liar and a cheat, so much so that even the judge cleared the jury and told you to cut it out. A few days later the jury ruled 100% in favor of the side that I represented.

I never followed through on that dinner, nor do I want to. The sleazeball was probably hoping to schmooze me into saying some info that he could twist for an appeal.

I believe it like I believe the dossier was real, the fisa warrants were legal, and the virus wasn't planned.

This isn't some opinion piece from the New York Times. It's an email. And neither party is disputing its authencity. Start using your head, for God's sake.

Dude, they brought in ballots from China. Forging an email would be child's play.

You know that emails are archived public records, right, with electronic stamps.

This isn't some political spin. Shit got real.
Remember when Trump said, "What you're seeing and what you're reading is not what's happening." He actually succeeded in getting guys like indianawtf and danc to deny their own senses, ditch common sense, abandon critical-thinking, reject reality and accede to the cult leader. "In Trump (and only Trump) we trust." Scary as hell.

A good lawyer proceeds with caution on cross of an expert. The guy you're describing sounds reckless and incompetent.

What is there not to believe? Seriously, I'd like to know.

Do you just dismiss anything remotely not-positive about Trump and his underlings out of hand?

I think followers of Jim Jones and the Branch Davidians did that too.
Really I don't give a sh!t. I believe nothing that comes from the msm and never will again. The only time I use them is to try and convince you all of the very source that you use against us. pitiful
