MAGA victory thread

Epps was appropriately charged, prosecuted and convicted for his actions on J6. This is just as I predicted after Epps name became a thing.

Why do you have the timeline wrong? He said those things early on J6 and changed his tune as they actually got to the capitol. This is all in sworn testimony in the trials of other J6 criminals.
It does not matter about the timeline there is video of him outside the capital telling people to go in. I will admit I have not seen when or where he changed his tune. I also don't know what his eventual charges were. But he definitely could have been charged with inciting a riot except the people were not buying what he was selling and started calling him a fed.

He was appropriately charged, prosecuted and convicted. This is the bottom line.

The video where he was instigating it should have led to more serious charges than he faced. And him telling anybody else elsewhere that they shouldn't go doesn't mitigate it. Because the people around him when he said what he said may well have acted on his commands.

Anyway, there's no good argument against Trump ordering a declassify on anything Epps related. And I certainly hope he does it. I just think it would be a very healthy exercise for the country.

We have a deep, deep problem with institutional trust. And if the FBI did put somebody there who was instigating people to go into the Capitol -- because Epps very much was doing that -- then it's something the American people ought to know.
Do we have another entity, outside the FBI, that could serve a no knock search warrant, seize all docs, records, every effing thing, so that the FBI couldn’t obstruct and destroy records? Maybe activate all SEAL teams, Rangers, Green Berets, to hit all FBI offices simultaneously ?

I believe Lt. Mitch Buchannon and his LA Lifeguards (a secret suborg of the Coast Guard?) could handle it.

Also, don't you think it was a good thing that Popular Mechanics did this? I certainly do.

Because it gave everybody who wasn't a 9/11 Truther an ironclad, scientific demonstration, step by step, about how crazy the allegations of the Truthers are.

Basically, I'm saying that it would be a good thing for all of us to have just as definitive proof that the FBI is telling us the truth about Ray Epps. Why? Well, because I think it would be kind of a big deal to learn that the FBI had people out there who were doing more than observing and informing. If they were instigating the criminal activity....that seems like one helluva big deal.

I don't know that it's true. But I don't know that it's not true. And I'd really like to know what the truth is -- beyond having to rely on Chris Wray's word.
Much like they proved that the FBI was behind the whole Witmer kidnapping. That data point alone demands transparency and accountability, to the people they work for. US!
It’s really sad that some give total trust to agencies that have proven repeatedly they are corrupt, but since they are feds they get a pass. The Kremlin couldn’t even make this devotion up in a screenplay.

To be fair, around where I live, we see a lot of Amish doing new construction and roofing.
Same here but Mexicans are getting into construction with their own crews. It appears roofing is most of it at this point.

Amish have been killing it in construction. The Mexicans are going to squeeze the Amish just like squeezed union labor.

Several times over the years my dad told me a story about the Union workers in Bloomington dynamiting an Amish worksite where his cousin was building a house or commercial building. I don’t remember which. Probably 60 years ago.

I don’t think it wax 60 yrs. I’m pretty sure I remember that story too!

My summer job when I was a kid was helping my grandpa lay flooring. We worked around a lot of Amish and became friends with some of them.

They invited us to a hog roast on day, so we went. That's some good eating, but nobody talked the whole dinner.

Afterwards though, those dudes got down and threw a crazy shindig. They had their own band going, complete with some guy playing spoons. It was super cool to be there.

Really good memory.

That has not been proven.

I hope you recognize that the purge trump talk is misplaced. Maga is the party. It’s looking like pubs will take the house too. Trump will have the ec, popular, and elevated candidates for a clean sweep of congress. THIS is the Republican Party

I'd watch a Scorsese movie about feuding Mexican and Amish construction gangs.

Fetterman, for everything people think about him, had a pretty good take on Rogan about immigration.

He said the best plan for immigration is one that can be passed through both the house and senate.

That answer is as non-partisan as it comes. It was actually a breath of fresh air to hear.
Fetterman will be president some day, presuming we still have elections going forwards. Before W Bush beat Kerry, the shorter person had never won the presidency and Fetterman is 6 foot 8.

Hey Joe, we did it. 😄

Looking at that chart, was Trump stuffing the ballot box, too? It reminds me of the scene in "The Sting" where Robert Shaw loses a crooked hand of poker to after Paul Newman outsmarted him, and pleaded to his bodyguard "What was I supposed to do...call him for cheating better than me?"

FWIW, they aren't yet finished counting the votes from last night. The final totals will be significantly larger than they are now.

Biden in 20 we thought was going to be a centrist, in keeping with his entire career c. People had trump fatigue. Thought old uncle Joe would be a moderate and a bridge to the next guy. I believe he got a ton of votes

We didn’t know he was desirous of being fdr woke and transformative. Bait and switch. Harris wasn’t going to pull that again. Fool me once….
