Judge puts Trump out of business in NY?

Read Stefanik's statement and tell this entire thing isn't a giant farce.

Nice footnotes … I don’t think anything will happen before the appeal.

For me, not being allowed to cross examine the NY state fact witnesses for facts disputed by the defense, before the judge relied upon them for a summary judgement of guilt, is the most egregious constitutional problem. NY State law that permitted this is flawed in my view.

Can one of you shysters explain to me how the judge overstepped his bounds by forbidding Trump and his team from going after his law clerk?
Ask the appeal court, I think they already made their opinion available and they are, you know, like official and stuff. It probably is even publicized to read. I for one will just let them take it from here. Unless you need further common sense of course. Hit me up.

Given Trump has zero self discipline (poor trait for someone who wants to be President) can’t stop talking
Soft people hate transparency in their leaders, they want SOP boilerplate pre approved reverberations. They can't handle the truth and sure as hell don't want to hear it out loud, giving it legitimacy. Sorry brother, it's gonna be on loud speaker in every neighborhood. Playing like Reveille, every morning. Attention!

Almost never ever on the defendant. Ever. But I guess Trump has those far left NY appellate judges in his pocket 🤣
That’s not what you claimed and I remain very doubtful that your revised claim is accurate, but I don’t really care. It’s of no concern to me that one judge issued a stay of the gag order. It’s not a positive for Trump that he will continue to whine and cry about the judge and everything in this case. Other than further exposing Trump’s spectacular dishonesty, I don’t really care about this case. The one I care about is the classified documents case. It’s likely a slam dunk conviction and I’ll enjoy seeing a guy that cared so little about protecting national security information be held accountable.

Every one of you that thought HRC was guilty (in a far, far less serious case), but defend Trump in this case, are total hypocrites. Nothing less than that.

Soft? You must be drunk.

Take it up with the appeals court Mark. Maybe he’s “had enough” of people like you running your mouth with impunity & decided all sides should be heard.😁

I like VDH, and I was a little harsh, but I think what he said was dumb. Ya’ll get upset too easily. At least I bought some of his books. ;)
I don’t think he’s a “Trumpster” or idiot. There are some folks with intellect who look at these Trump prosecutions and call them as they see them.

I didn’t call him a Trumpster. That would have been even more harsh. ;)

Remember it's such a dump the federal government couldn't afford it.

I think the issue is Trump likes using the smaller valuation when it comes to property taxes and a larger valuation when getting loans and whenever he feels like inflating his worth.

It would like saying my house is worth $1000 when it comes calculating my property taxes but I'll say it is worth $400,000 when listing my assets for a loan.

As I write this it is Monday 11/20 and today is the day the Appeals Court actually heard the case. Again, the single judge who ruled that he felt Trump should be temporarily allowed to attack witnesses and threaten legal staff (over his belief that it was a FA issue) was expressing his singular opinion. He issued the temporary stay until the full Appellate Court could hear the case, which started today...

Trump purchased MAL in 1985 and used it as a residence till 1994, when he converted it to a club. Problem is that despite easements which gave him benefits for commercial property he began valuating it as a residence on loan applications while maintaining it's commercial staus to ease his property tax burden.

Here is a Palm Beach Post from 2017 on Trump flaunting IRS rules. The New York case uncovered the fraud in conjunction with loans...

It started with.

"Donald Trump is a Russian asset sent here to destroy our country"

"He lied about an extra bedroom on his residence, he needs the death penalty"

Actually I think it started with Trump calling out Clinton for a much less serious offense thn any of the charges vs Trump represent. He started praising Putin publicly, which likely inspired the original (guessing Marco) opposition research paid for by at least one of the opposition GOP candidates he was running against. The FBI grew interested in March/April 2015 when Trump Train hired a couple of pro-Putin sympathizers in Manafort and Page.

Interesting choices, as both not only supported Putin, but had to some degree worked for Putin or at least for his cronies. Manafort basically ran Yanyukovych's pro-Moscow campaign to be elected Pres Ukraine . Page had a very sketchy past, including being friends with GRU contacts, attracted to him by his political leanings and greed.

The 2013 incident has been glossed over by Page's defenders, with claims he "worked" for the FBI. But the fact remains that Page only came to the FBI's attention as a result of being described as a "useful idiot" by two GRU agents on a secretly recorded FBI wiretap...

Yes it's true that after being confronted by the FBI, Page agreed to testify against the agents. But the question you have to ask yourself and what led to ongoing suspicion of Page by the FBI, was why did the FBI learn of Russian contacts to Page thru GRU agents, rather than vice versa?

I mean you'd think that if suspicious GRU types were currying favor with Page HE would be the one to report the approach from the GRU to the FBI himself. If that had been the case, then the GRU agents mentioning Page would fall under the category of confirmation of what Page had already reported. But that's not how it went down...

But I digress with facts...

Now don't you think it's a little hypocritical for 2 men (Jr and Flynn) among others who chanted "lock her up" vs Clinton to whine about Trump being indicted/charged with far more serious offenses? As Aloha has already pointed out the double standard from Trump defenders on this board compared to how they viewed Clinton's lesser offense is blatant.

I personally didn't think Clinton's use of a private server was serious enough to merit charges, just like I don't think accidental retaining of Classified dcouments by Trump would have been a big deal. And had Trump simply complied with the law and returned the documents, we'd never even have been aware any of it ever happened.

But the fact that the MAL raid was needed because Trump not only defied Grand Jury subpoenas but conspired to keep the documents, changes an "accident" to deliberate intent and obstruction. All of this happened behind the scenes, the DOJ didn't publicly attack Trump. They didn't go on media and demand he follow the law and return the documents. In fact they gave him every opportunity to comply.

But Trump is a selfish egotistical bastard, and for whatever reason he was determined to illegally retain classified documents in a manner that was not his purview. IMHO the reason Trump did not de-classify any of the documents prior to absconding with them, is that once they were de-classified they would lose their value in what ever manner he planned to utilize them.

They still never belonged to him and he still resorted to the nonsensical interpretation of the PRA by a political hack like Fitton. Talk about gravitating to a yes man who tells you only what you want to hear...

Trump's legal advisors who presumably could actually read the PRA advised him he needed to comply and return the documents. Instead Trump relied on advice from extremist activist Fitton with his AB in English. Fitton does have one claim to fame, in that he is generally regarded as one of the top misinformation disseminators on twiiter, esp with regards to propping up the Big Lie.

Easy to see why Trump would listen to him. If by some huge catastrophy Americans are stupid enough to elect Trump in 2024, we'll likely see catturd in some capacity. Maybe filling Goebels role in a previous autocratic regime as Minister of Propaganda...

Why are the dream team the only ones incapable of just turning it down to 11 once in a while?
My post about minority women prosectors and judges was completely unobjectionable. It's not racist to notice that they are disproportionately terrible. I'm not sure what Mark was on last night, but he needs to clean it up and take the emotion out of his moderation.

Hint: when you start a post with "I'm sure this is objectionable, but here it goes, anyway..." then it's probably objectionable.

But, at any rate, I am the one that deleted your original, not Mark, and my deletion had more to do with what you were responding to than it did the content of your post itself. Although I thought your post sucked, I wouldn't have thought to delete it if it wasn't on the heels of FTW's ridiculously juvenile offering.

If you defiantly repost deleted content you can expect it to be deleted once again, and shouldn't be surprised if you get some time off as well. If I was emotional about that, you wouldn't be posting here today, at least not under that nym.
