I’ve defended some of his policies because they were good. He, as a person, cannot be defended. He is by far the worst person, in terms of character, elected President in my lifetime. He took Clinton’s place for that dubious honor. He’s unfit for the office and it’s a national embarrassment he ever served in it.

Gag orders on a defendant are virtually unheard of in American law. Al Capone threatening to kill the judge or putting hits out on anyone on the jury is basically the only scenario where a gag order on a defendant would be Constitutional.

Don’t try to weasel your way out of being wrong again. On the defense most often and sometimes also on the defendant. Skim through a few of those articles and see for yourself. Given Trump has zero self discipline (poor trait for someone who wants to be President) can’t stop talking - it’s no surprise he’s one of those defendants warranting one.
What he meant to say is that a former US POTUS engaging in such spurious conduct that he faces felony indictments in multiple jurisdictions being put under a gag order hardly ever happens. Of course there's always a first time...
