Hunter Biden charged.

Are you saying DJT is the anti-Christ?
Looks like ftw has disappeared, so I'll weigh in.

Bible says the figure is the "Beast from the Sea." What's "sea" in Spanish (derived from Latin)? Hmmm. Something to think about.

It's probably not him, though. The bible also says the beast will appear to work miracles but they're just elaborate tricks. That doesn't sound like our boy. But, wait. He conned his way to the White House. Dirt-poor people donated to the billionaire's campaign. That was some serious trickery.

Trump's conduct, throughout his entire adult life, has been reprehensible. He's the most immoral man to ever occupy the White House. You know it. I know it. The whole world knows it. So the only thing you and your brethren can do, and the way you rationalize it, is you resort to whatabouts. What about Hillary, that "lover" of abortion? What about Bill? What about JFK? Lame, Van.

Kudos, though, for a novel theory - - the "rich guy" defense. He gets a pass because "rich people have different challenges." They sure do. The bible says it's harder for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven than it is for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. Trump's got some serious work to do. Maybe he should start giving his wealth away, like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. Trumpy needs to sign that Giving Pledge. Otherwise things are going to be heating up for him bigly.
The challenges I was talking about is being shaken down for money. You do make a good point about rich people not going to Heaven. It isn't because they don't give their money away though. It is because they don't see their need for Christ. Now that can happen to anyone of any class, but it is very true for those who have riches. I have never heard Buffett or Gates claim to know Christ as their Savior. To them I would say what Jesus said in Matthew 16:26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

Are you a lawyer? Trial lawyer? I always thought it would be neat to know bible shit to be able to throw out in court. King Solomon himself couldn’t have adjudicated more wisely your honor. But it’s not something you could do as a one off. It’d need to be your thing. Like an eye patch etc

It’s safe to say the dossier was full of falsehoods and misinformation. I always doubted it. However, given Trump’s history of womanizing, adultery, dishonesty and greed, it’s easy to see why many thought it was likely to be true. Let’s assume that all the women (I believe the number is around 26) who have accused Trump of sexual assault or sexual misbehavior are liars. My question to you as a pastor is how do you reconcile your faith with your support for such a major sinner?
How do you reconcile your vote for a person who traded influence for bribes?

Here's what's sad. They all believe in this guy. We could sit here and list all his history, it doesn't matter. It's a freaking joke all of it. It's beyond comical. Imagine a few years down the road. Really think about it. Seriously, we are already so wasted away and on a bold faced out in the open road to perdition it's sickening and disgusting. I guess this is the set up for what the Bible says will take place. All good!
All you have to do is imagine their reaction if this was one of Trump's sons.

Case closed.

No. You're dead wrong. An impediment to salvation for the rich is, in fact, selfishly hoarding wealth. Here's the entire passage which provides context for the camel/needle reference:

"A certain ruler asked: 'Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?' Jesus said . . . 'You know the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness, honor your father and mother.' The man replied, 'I have kept all these since my youth.' When Jesus heard this He said to him, 'There is still one thing lacking. Sell all that you own and distribute the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come follow Me.' But when he heard this he became very sad for he was very rich. Jesus looked at him and said, "How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God. Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.'" Luke 18, 18-25.

"From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required." Luke 13, 48.

You need to bone up on your New Testament.

You wrote, "You should stop judging."

That's one of the points from John 8, which I mentioned above.

Some of them claim superiority by professing their Christianity but then don't follow it.

Hahahahaha. Hilarious. Troll score 5 or name one person in any political office that you could say pretty good person. Answer NONE
George HW Bush and GWB were good people. As far as I know Obama was a pretty good person outside of politics. Of course, Carter was a really straight arrow as was Ford. There is nothing Christian-like in Trump's personal life, is there?

It is because Hillary Clinton was even more of a monster. She loves abortion and big government. Trump, as you say has a ton of flaws. But I have thought that rich people have different challenges than the rest of us. I am not saying they are all liars. I could see them all being liars because they see Trump as a cash cow. For instance the porn woman had testified earlier that they did not have sex. Trump said they did not have sex. So why did she change her story? It is money signs. Trump won a law suit against her and she now owes him over 250k.
Link this lawsuit that Stormy won. I don't think so. He paid her money to keep quiet about their affair. How many women have you given money to in order to keep quiet about their affairs with you?

Don't yet know that is true, and certainly didn't know anything about it when I voted for him over Trump. Trump was totally unfit to be President, so he'd never get my vote. However, if something actually comes from this smoke and Biden is involved in corruption, I'll be all about impeaching and convicting him in the Senate and removing him from office. I have no interest in defending him.

We need to dump Trump and nominate an actual solid Republican for 2024.

Just hold Trump to the same standard you do with Biden and he'd look like a saint.

I know I'm in the minority here, murt, but I'd rather not talk about my career. I don't think I'm special and I'm not trying to create drama. It's just my preference.

I will say this. I'm very interested in the New Testament and the history of the early Church. Three weeks ago I was in Ephesus (Turkey) and then Rome. It wasn't a religious pilgrimage but rather something we planned and organized on our own. I learned a lot and it was a great trip. Ephesus was once the third largest city in the Roman empire, and the ruins are impressive.

I'm not a "holy roller" and rarely discuss religion with friends. I'm kind of rough around the edges and sometimes have a short fuse (as do you - - -ha ha) but I'm trying to be better.

Very cool. I’ll assume you’re a lawyer then. Short fuse is often a product of same. It certainty was for me. Unfortunately

So the proof you need is people being loaded into rail cars to go on a special, once if a life time vacation. This actually isn't any surprise to any of us. I totally understand being obtuse to your personal feelings while active. You're a private contractor now... oh wait, now I get it. It's just business to you.... NOW. all is good as long as you get paid.

Question, do you believe millions wired into Hunter accounts are a lie? If not, what do you think the purpose of the money was?
I believe if true and illegal then he will see his day in court.

I also think conservatives enjoy implying wrongdoing in attempts to score political points

You doubt he received millions in foreign money?
I am not his banker. As I said, if he did anything illegal then he will see his day in court.

Personally I think pubs are using him as a "hey l, look over there" distraction to counter trump's legal issues.

Difference being we liberals won't be voting for hunter... ever

You are voting for his daddy and he’s deep in what went on.

But none of it matters because Garland will do nothing.

And yet you have no evidence Biden did anything illegal.

Our choice was Biden or Trump lest you forget. How much of a lead does Trump have in number of impeachments and indictments?

Come back when you have something against Joe Biden. More than just hey this looks shady. Right now you have zilch.

Conservatives on this board also use the tactic of (1) making an unproven assertion about something for which they lack both firsthand knowledge and proof, then (2) challenging their opponents to disprove their unproven assertion, and then (3) falsely claiming their opponents' inability to respond confirms their original unproven assertion.

Here's an example from Stoll's post No. 263 that you were responding to:

"Question, do you believe millions wired into Hunter accounts are a lie? If not, what do you think the purpose of the money was?"

See how Stoll's tactic works? He asked you to confirm his unproven assertion that there were "millions wired into Hunter accounts" and if you denied that, then he demanded that you explain what "the purpose of the money was" (even though his post assumed you had already denied that millions were wired in the first place).

Stoll thinks he wins no matter what you say. Weak.

Just show me the evidence and the charges. Surely if a bunch of random assholes on an internet forum know about all this illegal stuff, there has to be a prosecutor out there who knows.

I doubt it because, just like you, I've never seen his bank statements, deposit slips, wire transfer authorizations or any other documentation proving that point.
So the BSA reports don’t exist?
