Not defending Woodson, but I don't know who these guys are. Apparently they are in California. Are they IU grads?
I listened to far too much of their podcast. One of these clowns, while recounting some of RMK's bad behavior, stated "He put a cop in a dumpster in Puerto Rico." If this is the level of accuracy of their knowledge of IU basketball I don't understand why anyone would find anything they say credible. Astounding that they managed to embed themselves so deeply in the IU BB program.

Woodson is awful…he has zero excuses left for next year. He has never been a great coach anywhere and any capacity.

I'll say this again, I am ok with a sports coach being pompous and self-centered. If it was just that but he was/is successful, it becomes a positive personality trait towards his career. But if you aren't successful and are blind to your own deficiencies let alone lash out at those whose job it is to point those things out......the leash gets tighter. I hope like hell IU wins it all and CMW can tell our boy Jim Coyle to sit on a bed of thorns (hypothetically for this satirical argument, Jim is an innocent bystander) but let's not lose our ability to criticize coach for what he HAS failed to do. Nor should we turn a blind eye to the fact that this type of behavior isn't really out of character for him.

I'll stand by my statement that I haven't trusted them in the past and don't now. What have they done to earn my trust? They badgered recruits on Twitter. They've tried to get a recruit on a visit to bad mouth other schools. They promised to be transparent about their use NIL funds and yet haven't provided any kind of accounting, just expect you to take them at their word.
All that is beyond fair.
All I'm saying is that they had this meeting, then had the AD on AFTER it took place and are still doing other events besides the men's basketball stuff.
If they were lying about what happened, I have a hard time believing any of that would have or would be happening.

I went back and looked, and the Dolson interview was the end of April, while this meeting was in May, so believe they've not had him on their show since the meeting.

I’m pretty sure HH collective donors are individual fans — peegsters, their podcast listeners, whoever goes to their events, and randos that don’t know about HC/H4G. HH don’t have any whales or exclusive sources of money.
If needed, the fans that give to HH will just shift to H4G or HC. Allegiance is to IU, not HH, meaning the NIL impact is probably pretty small.

I understand that Woody knew he was going to lose their NIL, but that wasn't the reason why he cut them lose.

If they are bringing NIL to the women's basketball and volleyball programs for example, I don't think they are going to get cut off because that's a recruiting tool for the coaches to use.
There are a lot of people that don't like them, but they have a lot of people that do and will continue to support them. It's just the natural of what's going on.
