Now that the dust has settled and Woody is back...

Everyone knew Ware was leaving. Yes, people graduate. But the three that left were three that Woodson probably wanted to leave anyway. You know what was predicted as much as anyone else. It didn’t happen.
IUs starting lineup was in the top 2 to 5% in combined efficiency nationally. Yea, no one wants to hear that ... Woodson can't coach so there's no way he produced a top lineup, right? Or they'll ignore it because it doesn't fit their narrative.

When bench players came in that efficiency dropped off the map. Some of that was Woodson's lineups (really dumb lineups) but some of that was on the players too ... Gunn, Banks and especially Sparks (-340 spots when he was in replacing Ware) didn't fit and even when they did actually produce the team efficiency still dropped.. Still Woodson's fault because he played them.. but those three needed to leave and I suspect were asked to ...

The rumors of mass exodos was a lie created by an asshole, and the gullible slack jaws repeated it .. as gullible slack jaws always do.

During Archie’s third season I estimate that 80% of the posters here expected big improvement and strongly supported Archie. The 20% were considered worse than trolls. This time around the numbers are reversed but Willdog7 is in a class by himself-a CMW superfan.

You go dog.
Thank you

You are right it was his fault. They were all he had. He had to lay them.

You said you expected next season to be very successful and that is apparently a sweet sixteen appearance but now qualifying that with an injury free season from the player most likely to be injured. Can you just say you consider sweet sixteen to be a reasonable expectation for next season?
yes, plus the guys we get in the portal.

He could have mismatched his lineups better.
Mm plays some 4 and MR play some 5. The. Sprinkle Gunn and Walker in.

Not many good teams this year were going 8-10 guys deep

So, you're sayin' that the problem is the coaching staff and not the players? OK....I'll buy it.

I would give you the benefit of the doubt. Understand the situation, if he does not improve CMW is gone. I understand your heartfelt pain but being pessimistic all the time does not help. Do you think the 24-25 season is a failure b4 it even starts? You do not like the recruits, comparing them to the old players like X. Did you hear what Klay Thompson said that TJD was well-coached? The same could be said about Ware. Give the man a chance to coach. Everything is not doom and gloom.
I feel like im in the move "Gorundhog Day" every time I talk with you.

Give him a chance----Hes had 3 years.

Do not like the recruits---What recruits? Oh, the ONE in Tucker?

Being pessimistic, or encouraging, doesn't help/hurt either way. I could LOVE Woody....have your positive , Bill Walton type vibes---and guess what?

WE still suck. That's not being pessimistic----that's sir is reality.

I am sure TJD was well coached. And Ware. Weird we don't hear that about any single guard/wing that has played here under Woodson.

"Give the man a chance to coach.."-----Three years dude. he has been here three years. Is that not a chance?

My view on whether a team is well coached, is whether they rebound well. That's why I don't think we'll win big under Coach Woodson.

There's so many other important things, so my simplistic view is probably wrong. But seems like good coaches, know how to coach that.

I have liked some of the stuff over three years, love his true excitement when his guys do play well. Love his love for the true fans of the university.

Maybe I have selective memory here, have we had a good rebounding team under coach?
So I think we'll get another talented roster, and still not be all that great.

ALL your opinion

If Newton can stay healthy Sweet Sixteen.
So, you're already creating an excuse for next season?

Why exactly should we expect a guy coming off of 2 major surgeries who's missed the better part of 2 seasons (and has yet to play a single second of collegiate ball) to be somebody we rely on next season?

I fully expect Woodson to trot this excuse out next year but its pure BS.
