The UN warns. I read this in The Guardian. I didn't link to the article.
Bottom line after reading this article. We fought one war to gain our independence from a European master an another to keep it. We should be willing to fight a third to ensure we never become like Europe in the future.

Europe should take a shot at capitalism and leave their socialism behind. We have seen this year what happens when the shackles of government are taken off the American people. 4% growth is now a reality we can see and we were told that those days were over. Poppycock!!!!

Where do you pull these 'facts' from?

4%?

Try 2.2%

And Europe's GDP growth was higher than the US last year.

You can possibly be this ignorant. The Us economy did not grow at 4% and the 19 EU countries actually grew at a faster rate the the US as a whole. Many countries outgrew the US by a lot all while providing a robust safety net for its people.

Our economy grew 4.4% in 2017 while maintaining a 2.9% unemployment rate:

Do you ever take the time to verify your information?

Not only that -- he thinks the whole capitalism philosophy is foreign to Europe. Where does he think it came from? The Appalachians?

As I have said to someone here before, the level of parochialism on this board is shocking considering its 2018.

But we did have an awesome lead in school shootings with 23 incidents with an injury, but that was only up till May 25th.So the year is still young-and we are showing those dang Europe folks how to do it up right.Prosperity and guns! Yee haw

I know, right!!? I posted the exact same thing a couple of months ago, but was told that he is in fact a real person and a pastor.

I just shook my head. :(
 63000000 people are just like him, They’re called Trump voters.

So let’s get this straight, You really do know Bobby Knight?
Well, the name sounded familiar but I could not quite pinpoint. So, I googled, and this is what it says about the man with the famous red sweater:

"Robert F. Knight was an American professional basketball player. Knight played in the American Basketball League between 1947 and 1953, winning a league championship with the Manchester British-Americans in the 1952–53 season." Link

As you know, it's pretty interesting to watch from afar. The US has become a bizarre place.

So what are you going to say if economy grows at a large rate? Are you going to give capitalism and Trump credit for it? Obama said we would never see 3% growth again. Those days are over. I'm here to tell you that when the government gets out of the way of the American people they do amazing things.

I'm looking for your link to the Obama quote. I believe you forgot to link it.

Europe has left capitalism mostly to grab onto the socialist dream.

Acts 2:44-45
And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.

Galatians 6:2
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Acts 4:32-35
Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.

Matthew 19:21
Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

Luke 3:11
And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”

1 John 3:17
But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?

Acts 4:34-37
There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. Thus Joseph, who was also called by the apostles Barnabas (which means son of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus, sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.

Matthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Exodus 16:16-18
This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Gather of it, each one of you, as much as he can eat. You shall each take an omer, according to the number of the persons that each of you has in his tent.’” And the people of Israel did so. They gathered, some more, some less. But when they measured it with an omer, whoever gathered much had nothing left over, and whoever gathered little had no lack. Each of them gathered as much as he could eat.

Proverbs 28:8
Whoever multiplies his wealth by interest and profit gathers it for him who is generous to the poor.

1 Corinthians 10:24
Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.

Psalm 112:9
He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honor.

Philippians 2:4
Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.

Proverbs 31:9
Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.

Leviticus 23:22
“And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, nor shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the Lord your God.”

Just sayin'....

I was wrong it's 5 for the first quarter. It might end up leveling out to 4% for the year.

You don't even have the slightest clue what that is, do you?

To give you an idea how terrifically unreliable the Atlanta Fed Tracker is....here is what is was just a month later: 1.9%

http://www.businessinsider.com/atlanta-fed-prediction-for-us-economy-looking-worse-and-worse-2018-3

I gave you the real numbers in my original reply (not the predictions from 4 months ago) for 1Q....it was 2.2%.

Try again.

Could you please explain this? I am curious if you actually know what the difference is.

In your view how is the US and Europe similar and how are they different.

Based on your posts I don't think you have the slightest clue, but I am willing to let you explain before jumping to any conclusions.
