Mike Pence gets the award for January 6th. However everybody was afraid to talk before January 6th and also after January 6th. A bunch of cowards - all of them.

Let's not forget that all but two Republicans voted against having any of these hearings. And those two are now viewed to be pariahs by the GOP.

I don't know about Pence, but my understanding is that Biden was not a lapdog. Like Cheney before him, he was a very consequential Vice President.

It's such a strange job. The Veep has the opportunity to blaze his own path thanks to the fact that he's the one guy in the Executive branch that the President can't fire. On the other hand, said opportunity almost always only comes from the President because the Constitution gives the Veep virtually no responsibility to be independently exercised.

When Biden took the VP job it was conditional upon him being the last person in the room with Obama regarding important decisions. Pence was a sucker who got thrown under the bus-literally at the very end.
