As I watched this and heard from these one time MAGA stalwarts about what they went thru after fleeing the cult, I couldn't help but be inspired by their bravery and willingness to stand up for what they believe is right. None of these 3, as well as Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are anywhere close to what I believe from a policy standpoint. They all either chose to work for the Trump Admin in various capacities, or as in the case of Liz and Adam voted for Trump because they believed in his policies. IIRC, Liz C had close to a 93% pro-Trump voting record, which of course wasn't enough to save her from the Trump loyalists who believe that everything else is subordinate to fealty to the King of Con...

It takes courage to buck Trump and his MAGA syncophants. Look at the various death threats launched against public officials and various members of the judiciary who dare to issue an opinion or render a decision that Trump perceives as an example of the deep state out to get him. For example,in both CO and Maine the legal challenges did not arise within the court or Sec of State's office (resp), but rather with ordinary citizens within the various states that who brought challenges in line with provision's within the States' constitutions. Both cases involved Republican voters, not just Democrats. And in both cases the people charged with judging facts and providing an opinion were doing the tasks presribed to them by law...It was not a task they personally advocated to be thrust upon them...

So threatening these people based on their opinion is both silly and terrifying. Neither the CO SC or the Maine Sec of State are the final arbiter, as long as SCOTUS agrees to undertake review. It's safe to say someone who would threaten any of these people has lost the right to participate in the electoral process, and lacks a basic understanding of how the US Constitutional framework works in the first place.. Many of them are easily manipulated by Trump's willingness to inflame passions to his own advantage.

Trump is just the ultimate con man,and even though it's embarrassing (to me) when I hear him talk some people are mesmerized. Seriously who says things like "your favorite President" or constatntly refers to himself in the 3rd person? Still at one point all three of these (self assured) women believed in him. So the decsision to break ties took courage, and the willingness to lose friends and even family members over what they recognized as a very real threat to democracy...The epitome of the very real stories of adherence to the principles of duty and selflessness that JFK recounted in PIC...

Yes “adam and liz” stand shoulder to shoulder in the annals of American heroism right next to trannies playing womens’ sports

There has to be a Trump Obsession and Withdrawal Class meeting somewhere today.

It's a phenomenon known as the illusory truth effect. When bullshit and lies are repeated again and again, idiots ultimately believe them.

I wouldn't worry too much. Trump's going to go the same way his endorsed candidates in key states did in 2022 - - - to the loser's dustbin. The opposition hasn't even started spending real money yet. And wait 'til the trials begin. Trump will become completely unhinged after he's been sitting in a courtroom for days or weeks at a time. Independents and anyone still on the fence at that point won't be on the fence anymore. And to his devotees who firmly believe he's going to walk on all 91 counts, I've got some Trump Steaks to sell you.

Happy New Year.

Criticizing Trump does not take courage. In fact, it probably takes more courage to defend Trump.

Leader in the clubhouse for the Dream Team 2024 TDS award.

My vote goes to post #6.
It's TDS only if you oppose Trump.

And the whole TDS thing is such a lazy-ass, loser's argument. Trump is a former president who is running for president again with an unprecedented and despicable background, not the least of which are the 91 pending felony counts against him. He's the effing elephant in the room but he should be ignored (unless you're a follower/worshiper). Hilarious.

No one here is a victim. I just find it funny that people are so delusional they think they’re standing in the breach of a Trump autocracy by lambasting him.

Talk about a personality disorder.
All of your posts are full of crying. You're as weak as water.
Grow up and stop being a victim.

This is the first time I ever noticed that posts on a thread were numbered. My resolution to learn more in 2024 is off to a solid start
Did you know the fuel pump icon on your gas gauge has a small arrow to indicate on which side of your car you’ll find the fuel cap?

What more do you need to know in 2024?

Oh, and you park in a driveway and drive on a parkway.

And yet, here we are.

I wasted about 100 mins watching Strays (Will Ferrell/Jamie Foxx as dogs).

Didn’t suck.
You could be watching The Twilight Zone marathon rather than the Oregon destruction of Liberty.

That’s silly and absolutely untrue for a Republican politician. Thats the only reason Trump is still the Republican front runner. Cowardly Republicans.

Recording. Had to go to Home Goods, Lowe’s, and Meijer.

REAL NICE LITTLE ****ING NEW YEARS DAY.

Kill me.
I HATE home goods. Makes you feel better I had 4 nights in the hospital with my daughter followed by two with my grandson including nye where he coughed all night long. I dropped him off this am and am now almost comatose. My ex stoker was in a great mood as I guess the newlyweds had a great nye. Young love…. I’m happy for them.

Glad your daughter’s doing better. Don’t know much about pancreatitis. Is this something she gonna deal with long term?

What exactly do you disagree with? I’m interested to hear.

yeah it's chronic. we see a specialist this friday but i don't think there's much can be done at this point. hospital doc is yale med and a top 10 gastro hospital in the country, her pediatrician is yale med, and so is this specialist. very frustrating. every two or three months she gets a debilitating stomach ache so we rush to the hospital. very little gets done as all they can do is manage the symptoms via morphine and hydration. pain subsides in three or four days and we head home. i mean at some point she could have it removed. but that's radical. the real fear is increased risk of cancer.

home goods has chairs. find a chair and play on your phone. get in a fight on here. scroll the gram
