Anyone see it yet? It's the sort of story I usually like, but I'm struggling to understand how they are turning it into a movie best seen on an imax, and can it hold my attention for 3+ hours? I thought the Imitation Game was terrific, but there was a very interesting backstory there. Wondering if I'm going to be let down? Who's seen it?

I saw it last night and enjoyed it. It could have been edited down a bit, as I'm not generally a fan of a 3 hr movie experience, but it was quite thought-provoking.

I saw it. (POTENTIAL SPOILER HERE) I enjoyed the movie but also feel it could have been shortened. My dad worked for a short time in a mental institution and spent time with Oppenheimer. It’s not a secret he was disturbed by the creation of the bomb. This was alluded to in the movie that he struggled but not to a level that he would ever need to be hospitalized.

I'm just bummed that they didn't use Rush's Manhattan Project somewhere in the movie. Even the in the credits would have been cool.

Well in the big band era … Rush would have stuck out like a sore thumb.
Rearranged to the style of the times, and sung by a wistful crooner …
