Oh, I agree. And the whole reason the LP was able to take off in the first place was the publicity (and donations) Trump unwittingly garnered for them when he re-tweeted the Mourning in America, complaining about them misspelling Reagans original slogan.

Meh. That kind of ad is aimed at liberals. It makes us feel superior by reinforcing what we already know. The LP ads are directed at moderates and conservatives and highlight how incompetent Trump is in a way that's more universal. Trump can feel it, too, which is why they are the ones he lashed out at.
