John Maxwell writes about a principle of leadership called “law of the lid”. He opens his conferences with this topic, which is all about the value of leadership. He says that “wherever you look, you can find smart, talented, successful people who are able to go only so far because of the limitations (or lid) of their leadership”. Regretfully, I think someone at IU has been exposed by The Law of the Lid.
