Democrats are stupid

In a way I agree with you but in another way I think they should go after her if they have evidence that it was done for political reasons. I think any prosecutor(R or D) who uses their office for political reasons should be disbarred and punished.
Yeah I don't have a problem going after her. I'm just saying I think the Trumpers are expecting more from this than they will get.

So if Wade and Willis weren't an item she wouldn't have gone to the grand jury and wouldn't have laid charges?
I have no doubt trump did whatever attributes but the clown show of lawyers etc has removed the intended impact. Fannie Mae is nuts. Horrible. Her dumb testimony. Jean Carroll is batshit crazy. Bragg good grief. In some ways their collective goofiness probably inures to trump’s benefit. He’s in the crosshairs of more weirdo Dems pubs don’t like

McAfee is up for election. That explains his excessive caution.
He's a Republican, member of the Federallist Society who was appointed by Bryan Kemp.
It might go away if a prosecutor without an agenda was put in.
Or maybe a very competent person would never have brought the charges in the first place. That's what the Dems are really afraid of.

RICO, my ass.

RICO, my ass.
So what "agenda" do you think FW had?She took office on Jan 1, 2021 and the very next day Trump made his infamous call to Raffensberger. Nobody knew that Trump was going to act the fool and start breaking GA law. Clearly Raffensberger had some unease, which is why he taped his call with Trump to protect himself.

Btw, how do you think Willis found about the call in the first place? The call took place on Jan 2, 4 days prior to the riots on Jan 6. Debunked lies about dead people voting in GA is a key element of Trump's Jan 6 speech inciting his followers to riot...

"Jan 6 Trump and allies, including Giuliani, give speeches during a Washington, D.C. rally. They repeatedly invoke election falsehoods about Georgia and other states, including the bogus claim that more than 10,000 votes in Georgia were cast on behalf of dead people. Many in the crowd then proceed to the U.S. Capitol, which becomes the site of a deadly riot.

The presidential election is certified later that night, but Georgia Rep. Jody Hice objects to the inclusion of Georgia's votes in Biden's favor.

Jan. 7: A Republican official is captured on surveillance video escorting computer and data experts into an elections office in Coffee County, Georgia, before an apparent breach of the county's voting systems.

Jan. 18: A different Republican official is seen granting other data experts access to the office.

Feb. 11: Willis sends letters to Kemp, Raffensperger and Carr requesting they preserve documents related to a "matter…of high priority" her office is investigating. Sources in Kemp's and Raffensperger's offices confirm to CBS News the matter is Trump's Jan. 2, 2021 phone call."

Everyone knows that if it was a dem engaging in this behavior you'd be calling for their execution. As you can see FW did not have an agenda to "get Trump". He just chose to be involved in various illegal activities right under her nose. She ran in the 2020 election just like Trump, so to claim she had an agenda to get Trump and she ran on that is ridiculous.

She didn't even take office until Jan 1, but in the time leading up to her assuming her role Trump and Rudy were busy running roughshod over various GA laws. It was only after she began investigating and then convened the special Grand Jury in early 2022, that many of the crimes were uncovered. She initially started out investigating the call, but as is often the case that investigation uncovered additional criminal behavior

Btw she didn't hire Wade until Nov 21 2021, so nearly a full year after she took office. And it was only after hiring Wade after offering the position to others who turned it down that Wade even entered the picture.

Wade wasn't hired to argue the case in court but rather to do the behind the scenes legwork to prep the case for the Grand Jury. FW had run on a platform of attacking drug gangs and she had another ongoing RICO investigation that occupied her time and she needed help. She offered the position to a former Gov of GA but he turned her down, which he testified to in the recent show trial. So Wade wasn't even her first choice...

Your claim that a "competent" prosecutor with "no agenda" might not pursue this case is preposterous. There were like 40 or 50 witnesses who appeared before the Grand Juries, including both Kemp and Raffensberger so the idea that the charges are unsubstantiated are ridiculous. Two seperate Grand Juries felt that there was enough to warrant indictments. Doesn't prove that Trump and his gang are guilty and they might be acquited. But the fact that 4 of the co-defendants have already plead out means there was enough there for them to avoid the risk of facing a jury.

I agree with that! I don't think anything will come of it.
Disagree. The credibility of the prosecution is destroyed. Remains to be seen if it has an effect on the jury. At the very least Trump has a grounds to appeal a guilty verdict that he otherwise shouldn’t have.

If Fanni had a lick of sense, she would recuse and bring in a whole new team.

I’m struck the thought that by the Fulton county residents that lined Trump’s motorcade route may make juror selection interesting. Flynn’s attorneys left a lot on the table in their jury selection in a DC court. Fulton county Democratic officials should clearly be recused.
Interesting... So in the normal rule of business, the stat gets to reach out to their "preferred" Jury pool possibilities.... Probably why I have never received an inquiry since 1994,.... They get to pick and choose.
(which bring up a whole nother thread topic....)
Can Trump supporter, line the court, everyday, demanding to be on the (a) jury?
Dim's opened this legafare can of whoopass. As in everything they do, .... YOU drew first blood... now you die with a tire around your neck, neck cut and your tongue being pulled through the neck incision.
That is where the dim's and Alohapublicans are bringing us to.
Tea party made a statement and moved on
(hopeing that it would send a message) , but have moved on. Petropublicrates...
Aloha and the uniparty seems to want civil war.
Any way we can prevent that now?

The typical process in Indiana is that registered voters are picked randomly form the county’s voter rolls. (I’ve been picked twice and served for a trial once. They do try and spread the wealth … I don’t expect to be picked again.)

You can’t lobby to be on a Jury … my point is I don’t think Fulton county prosecutors can assume they won’t get a hung jury.

As long as they get a jury that decdes based on the actual charges not gossip and innuendo I don't think they get a "hung" jury. I also don't think the case in GA goes to trial before next year. And by that time Trump will likely have added additional charges based on his behavior after losing again in 2024. I can hear it now,the claim will be we couldn't lose because we were ahead in all the polls. Polls don't count, votes and actions do...

Haley dropped out a week and a half prior to the GA Primary. Yet Haley still got nearly 80,000 votes in the GA GOP Primary. Some of that can be explained by early/mail voting which were largely votes cast before she quit the race...

The problem is 20,000 GA Republicans turned out ON election day, to cast votes for a withdrawn candidate and against Trump. Think of how much more effort/determination it takes to go out ON election day and vote against yourown party's presumptive nominee than to answer a telephone or online poll.

People think I'm highly partisan and I don't even vote in primaries. The people who do are super motivated, and 20,000 Republicans in GA were super motivated to leave their house and cast their vote vs Trump...

Those people will likely vote in Nov, and some of them may change their mind and vote for Trump. But some of them will vote 3rd party or for Biden, and it's precisely this shrinking of margins from 2016 to 2020 in states like GA,PA AZ etc... that led to Trump losing those states. He's got to offset the losses in major urban areas with his dominance in deep Red counties. Remember there were no GOP primaries in 2020 for disaffected republican voters to express their displeasure with Trump. So they registered their disgust at the ballot box, hence the shrinking margins...

In a number of states like MI,VE,and GA the pre-primary poll numbers for Trump were much higher than the margins he ultimately achieved. Polls are polls, but actual election results combined with exit surveys tell the actual story... Trump hasn't even appeared on a single one of his felony indictments yet. He's not going to like the story that will be told in Nov 2024...

The typical process
The Dim's, once again, proved in 2020 that the "typical" process is null and void as they can circumvent the system at any time they see fit, so that the "typical process" allows then to do any god damn thing they want.
I will guarantee you, that with my limited (admitted) intelligence yet extreme drive for success, I'd find every micro fracture in the system to get MY jury seated....
Just as we are seeing in Fulton county NOW, and as @The_Fat_electrician always says. IT's never a war crime the first time.
Donald Trump is experiencing a shit ton of "first times" because............. the typical process.

AGAIN, I'm like Dersowitz, If Donny was gone tomorrow.... OK... But Donald has, as he promised ( AGAIN) just how ****ing corrput DC is.
He doesn't have to win election. He's already PROVEN what he said he would. Now, who puts the final nails in his feet? Do you swing the hammer?
This is an actual question, not metaphorical.
Who here pounds the nails into PDJT hands and feet? Maybe this should be a new poll post.... hmmm

Some of the rule changes in 2020 that dems took advantage of were put in place by republicans.

And the only reason republicans didn't take advantage was because Trump told them not to so he could pretend it pointed to malfeasance in our election.

You have serious problems.
Sounds like some serious deflection from answering a direct question.
Are you, or are you NOT, swinging the hammer?

Or are you ok with letting the system do what you want? So you... You know, don't have to get dirt under your nails, so to speak.
A man would answer the nail question. Yes/ NO.
A weasel would message board MOD while the DC Mofia does they work for they.

Which are you? Simple question and has nothing to do with loving or hating Trump.
