The funeral the shooting occurred at was for a dude who was shot in a drive by last week, which was itself in retaliation for a previous shooting.

So, this was a gang shooting with no political implications and no fatalities. But somehow this incenses the board's right-wingers more than actual shootings WITH fatalities AND political implications like the clown in El Paso who killed "invading Mexicans" at Walmart based on Trump's hate-filled rhetoric...

How many people were killed in the riots (be sure to include police because like it or not they are also people). You can leave out those that were simply beaten to near death.

It a shame that the overall trend for murders going drasticallly down, over many decades, is not quite the case in Chicago. Though it is not as bad as it was, say, in the early 90s
