Plenty of Vets who take a separation payout can later end up classified as disabled. Vets who are discharged with a disability still see their % climb as they age and all this other stuff comes out like agent orange, burn pits, and even stuff like defective protective gear like 3M ear plugs hits everyone regardless of disability at time of separation. We treat our Vets like shit when we think we can get away with it.
