2028

Using “Harris” and “2028” in the same sentence shows how pitiful the Democratic Party has become.
The ones pushing Harris are the identity politics cult freaks. Just feels good to be the gop. The party of policy. The party of substance. The party that weds the best and brightest from the public and private sectors. The party of interchangeable parts really. Trump is just a placeholder. We could substitute him with anyone and our ideals would remain the same. Just pass the baton to the next guy. Let’s go!!!!

Trump is like a starting pistol. A lot if noise that starts many on a rush to a common goal. I’m beginning to think that not only did the GOP need this push, but so did the country.

So, what happens in 2028? If Harris loses, one assumes she will run in 2028 as the candidate who fell on her sword to try to defeat Trump. I don't know that the Democratic Party will buy that. There will be a battle between Newsome, Shapiro, and maybe Beshear. I expect Shapiro to win based on electability, he will win Pa and that is pretty close to a guaranteed D win in November. Shapiro-Beshear might be a tough ticket.

If Trump loses, one expects Vance to be the frontrunner but far from guaranteed. I think either Youngkin or DeSantis wins. Haley probably lost her shot by staying in against Trump. Assuming in this scenario Trump loses, Vance will carry that loss, I doubt he has the Teflon coating Trump has. The Senators (Cruz, Rubio, et al) always have a hard time winning.

Personally, glad the election is over.

Instead of picking sides and looking for candidates for 2028 to beat the other guys, shouldn't we be putting our heads together to jointly solve the problems facing our nation and the world?

The eventual winners in 2028 should be those whose solutions and ideas make the most sense to each of us between now and then.

Keep an open mind and hope problem solvers emerge from unexpected places including the other party. Need problem solvers instead of those who make the best case against the other guys.

United we stand, divided we fall.

Best of luck to Trump and his administration. They appear to be willing to offer some new approaches worth exploring.

I always have to laugh at how reporters, etc throw around the terms "uneducated men" and "uneducated women" like they don't have enough sense to go to the bathroom. Just because a person doesn't have a college degree doesn't mean that person is uneducated.
The left is full of ignorant racist assholes like Sunny, which makes me happy. They can’t help themselves and slowly alienate more and more groups of people. I hope The View signs her to a lifetime contract.
