Hope you all realize that this p u clown is simply following their age old playbook of co-opting our board to talk about their joke of a program...

This guy is just one of several who consider it some warped kind of win if he keeps the conversation focused on pu and off of INDIANA...

While he's not obnoxious enough to put on ignore like most of them, we should all be aware that by interacting with him/them beyond just a few reasonable responses, we simply feed his/their ultimate goal of just mudding up our board while distracting from INDIANA Footballs achievements...

The dead giveaway that this joker is just a closet troll is the Fact that is he Never to be found on his own board...

I discuss iu as well. I've also pointed out in several other places that the reason I'm not on the free board is because I'm on the pay board, where I'm an active poster. Free board over there is meh at best. So dead give away? I'm not here to troll iu, just discuss football when there is no football on. I love following recruiting. Both sides. Ask anyone on the Purdue free board that is also on the paid board, they can backup everything I said. Thanks!

Most reasonable Nebraska fans know that he needs time and they can't keep running out coaches. They also accept that they aren't a 10 win program anymore, but instead, belong in the same breath as Purdue and iu. Barring a total bottoming out (1-2 wins), most Nebraska fans feel he has, needs, and deserves another 2 years. It's the minority that still think they are at osu's level.

But they have the facilities and stadium to be on that level, so it's going to be much easier for them to get there than Purdue or iu imo. Their stadium is beautiful. NFL esc. I'd recommend the trip. Most Nebraska fans are awesome!

Also the fan base is huge, loyal and travels well. Spring game has 60K plus attendance every year. When NU came to IU a few years back there were thousands of NU fans at the game and tailgates.

That was a pretty crazy recruitment. I thought Purdue led, then he went to Baylor and moved up his commitment. I know Purdue took Deetor to be a DT, so idk if they would take another or try to get Strickland, and CB, and be done. Purdue class is almost full.

Would iu take him if he wanted to come still? I assume their class is filling quick?

Yeah, I think it's Moore or nothing at that point.

Remember, we took including transfers, we've taken 11 offensive lineman in the last two classes combined. With Smith on board and if we get Lynch, that's another two and then we'd hold a spot for Moore. That's three this class. I think we only lose 4 this year, so numbers aren't that crucial.

Offensive line isn't a huge priority, at least for high school recruiting.

I agree don't really care about PU FB program, although I love Mitch D and really respect PU's academics and another great college in Indiana. And it BB they have been kicking our asses last 5 years (though I sense that's about to change ahead under Woody!)

But for the PU fans on here, they ABSOLUTELY used to brag about Brohm after his first two years and NEVER led with "patchwork team for 2-3 years." They had beaten OSU (not an easy feat I agree) and were going bowling and he was being recruited to go elsewhere (or he was leveraging PU with that?). But I remember thinking, after two years, believe Brohms record was like 16-14 and Allen's was 14-16 or 15-15. My numbers are likely off but for all the hype, it was LITERALLY one win more for IU or one loss for PU and it would be the same. Yet Brohm was getting pay increases, hailed as a genius and they were questioning our "HS coach who's never had HC experience."

Like evaluating a Mutual Fund, it's better to give it a longer run than 1-2 years of return data. Clearly as of right now, five years in, Allen has a better W-L record and his program is on the rise. Brohm is someone who I don't simply count out as he may show signs of life this year again, but he was likely a tad overhyped back then and PU fans were loving it and not making any sort of excuses at that time. So for our friends from PU on this site...please, let's not rewrite history. As even if he did have good transfers his first two years, by year three he should have had two seasons of HIS recruits combined with a third freshman class and any other transfers he had, plus been able to build off the special year of Tyler Trent to keep growing the program. Maybe this year will be different but for now, the Bucket lives safely in Bloomingon!

Most fans I knew were absolutely acknowledging that he had hit the grad transfer market hard with great success and that was the biggest difference between years 1 and 2 vs 3 and 4. Hard to win in the big ten with youth. I think Allen and Brohm will end of having long careers at Purdue and iu. Should make for a fun bucket game for a change. Heck, they've made it fun so far! All three games were really good.

Don’t know, don’t really care. Like Purdue a few years ago, the shine and aura from Rutgers and Schiano still glows bright. With a new a coach at the helm wanting to get his system and players in place, it likely means for some larger classes and inflated rankings. I like the quality of recruits that Allen has steadily been bringing in and I expect that trend to continue.
