Why I'll Never Trust Another Democrat In My Lifetime

Trust them with what?

Are you talking about Dem politicians here or anyone who votes for a Dem politician or anyone who self-identifies as a Dem?

Apparently because 60% of dems wouldn't stay and fight, 100% are untrustworthy.

Majority of Pubs would stay and fight but I guess even those that won't are still trustworthy.

Basically, he just wanted to re-iterate his partisan BS.

Woke BS...Interesting

He's been very critical of all the nonsense. And I don't care about pronouns and all the rest. I'll call a person Rear Admiral if they want. People deserve to be happy and respected and to do what they want and be what they want. Adults. But the indoctrination of kids, the Defund the Police, the searching for racism where it doesn't exist, are a bridge too far. Bill's right on all of the social justice silliness

I call my buddies Rear Admirals all the time. Er, never mind...😁

Cool. Competition is good.

But I think it's really interesting to see you and Crazy screeching about overemotional college kids after watching y'all rant emotionally about folks like Cori Bush and things like CRT and health and safety protocols. I'm just glad that we can provide a safe space here for you to cry about the USWNT. I shudder to think what would happen if you weren't given the room to process. ;)
I don't understand your analogy. Safe spaces are places where others won't challenge your concerns and feelings. McM and Crazy are posting on a site where their concerns and feelings can be challenged--in fact, you just did.

You seem to be mistaking their complaint--it's not that they care if people complain, it's that by creating safe spaces, etc. you are actually making an environment that is less safe for those kids, preparing them less for the world, and validating harmful cognitive distortions.

Challenging safe spaces, trigger warnings, et al. (just as with CRT/antiracism) isn't some conservative conspiracy: liberals like Jonathan Haidt and Sam Harris have been warning about them for years:

Have you read The Coddling of the American Mind by Haidt and Lukianoff? It's well written, really well reasoned, and backed up with plenty of evidence.

This isn't a safe space for any of us here. A counter opinion is expected. That is a space for discussion. The safe spaces on campus are echo chambers designed to keep people from having their feelings hurt over a an opinion in opposition to their own.

I don't want a safe space on CRT or Ibram Kendi-esque racial "scholarship". I want a wide open discussion to expose it for the bull shit it is.

I'll tell you another distinguishing thing. The Big Lie, Jan 6 etc is distinguishable from the mask craziness and CRT (and derivations) in that the latter are in the schools. That's f*ing with our kids. That's no bueno. As we saw in Virginia there will be political consequences for that

At least where I live, I could argue that kids adapt if the parents don't make a big deal about masks being worn.

It's not an ideal situation for sure, but kids that's I've seen adapt much better then adults.

Kids have a greater threat from the flu. I don't appreciate kids being political pawns. There's nothing normal about kids having to adapt to a concocted, political issue

My kids have been out more times this year sick then last year when there was a mask mandate in school when they didn't have a cold. I have to think the mask had something to do with that.

I'm not for using kids as political pawns either, but just pointing out that if parents didn't push their agendas on kids, would they even notice?
Seeing a person's face is important. They are kids. They will do what we say. They repose their trust in us and their teachers. Using masks as a totem of virtue signaling is bs. Again seeing a face, seeing an expression, a smile is important. I don't know how having a criminal trial with masks is even constitutional.

As DeSantis rightly said it's political theatre.

You just made my point.... they will do what we say. Don't push you're political view on them and they will adapt. Do you not think they can't see someone smiling under a mask? Really? My 3rd grader still has to wear a mask at her sitters house and communicates just fine.

Negative. They shouldn't have to adapt to a fictional problem. What's more, I believe masks are harmful. I don't think it's healthy for kids to unnecessarily be in masks. My guess is if you buy into the lefty narratives you don't have an issue with masks. In for a penny....

I remember when mandatory and those moments at the store where you and another are trying to get past and both go the same way to get out of the way a time or two , smiling about it like usual and then realizing we cant see each other.

I genuinely don't understand how a criminal trial could be constitutional in masks

Ohh sh!t remember the beginning where they had arrows in aisles. That was hilarious and especially when a store clerk said um sir you cant go that way. I would look at them like are you f*ckin stupid. And while you shopped every 30 seconds was the public service announcement regarding social distancing. F********. I wanted to strangle someone

Sorry a little off topic but something you said triggered me back to the start of this nightmare.

Not to mention what it did to that poor white dude from Rutger's ears wearing one !

I would be useless on the front but would be glad to provide support. First aid, food, knowledge of area, smuggling supplies. I could probably convert my computer security skills to hacking.
That's true, I'd never thought of it that way. I would also be useless on a front line as I'm 50 and about a step from a wheelchair after surgeries. Unless I were supplied with a rocket launcher and an assault rifle, doubt I could defend my front porch, but I could get us safe somewhere and use my technology background to something like you suggest. It's a scary proposition, I was speculating this morning with my wife that something like that might already be going down.

My bank account login didn't work this morning, then I tried to login to Anthem to check on what pending med bills might be, again didn't work. I save passwords too, not a great security protocol , but where we live it's not like we're subject to someone parked out front packet sniffing and our wifi is secured. Then even MSN went down for a good while. It wasn't the internet, it was critical information being offline, made me wonder if there's not already some interference going on that they're dealing with. All's better now, but just seemed weird it all happened at the same time early this morning

I don't believe masks hurt my kids in anyway, shape or form but that's just me. I respect your position though, which is totally fine.

I think an invasion of the mainland US is extremely unlikely at best. I’d assume it’s more like we’d have to worry about nukes in the sky instead of boots on the ground. I’d also have to think both scenarios are unlikely though.

Maybe you’ll save us all by fixing your laser sites on any incoming nukes.
I'm not sure I'd be so sure anymore. Who thought they'd pull what they're doing, I don't even think Ukraine. I watched a really interesting documentary on Amazon a couple months back about Nazi submarines in the Gulf of Mexico during WW2 and a major attempt to do just that, that I had not known of, and probably 99% of the US has never heard of.

It was interesting for sure and I'm very liberal, it was a PBS thing I think and no right wing propaganda. One of those things you watch at 2:00 am when your wife wouldn't tolerate it and you can get away with it, but I didn't know it was ever that close. Pretty interesting that they had such a spy network and were trying, I had never heard about that.

I can’t believe it took you so long to say this.
I've been busy badmouthing America and running from the evil threats coming after my family, but eventually I was able to get around to it. It's too bad because there are so many Republicans like you, Aloha, Noodle, mcm, and Brad that I respect, but 76's post is just a deal breaker. I mean, I can't even believe that I'm answering your post here. 😇 /sarcasm

There are remnants of a sub or two in the Aluetion Islands and some other stuff in Alaska you don't hear much about either and incendiary balloons Japan was trying to get to the west coast

The old guys certainly have strange red lines. My father in law is treated like shit daily by his wife and he just takes it. But he flips out like a maniac if a commercial comes on that makes a man look dumb to a woman.

Connelly rejects naming this elite effort a conspiracy, but he does
suggest that conspiratorial evidence may lie in unexplored archives
of the Population Council, the International Planned Parenthood
Federation, the Ford and Rockefeller foundations, the World Bank, and
UN population control agencies. But there is no doubt that this
program involved deceptive practices, propaganda campaigns, forced
sterilization, bribery, murder, and corruption on a large scale
, without actually having any research into correlations between population size and poverty or how sterilization campaigns influence population growth.

Go learn something before you post. Tired of you guys ignoring history. You prolly advocate for history erasure.
I think that’s your team. You know the ones that don’t want their kids learning about slavery.

Appreciate? Maybe the soon to be loons do. My daughter left IU. She wasnt the only one its a joke. She hated the idiots running around with the blm mantra and the stupid pandering to the left crowd. Half the kids did it to fit in because they couldnt fit in otherwise. So thats what were left with, dolts that have no brains and are followers of a bullsh!t movement. When they are cornered with a real debatable issue they scream and then yell racist with no value to bring. Idk where college went too, but IU is a far cry from when I was hanging around in the 80's.
Sorry she didn’t fit in. Sadly, not surprising. Hopefully when she gets in the real world she’ll understand the paranoid bs she grew up with.

Ok I have to call time out on this one. Keep in mind am a 100% denier (so they call me)..
But the direction arrows on the floors, a center line, turn lanes... Are ALL great ideas (forget Covid).
YOu ever try to get through a GD airport? People wondering all over the freakin place. Going 12 mph with a 40 person line behind them getting to their gate and then come to a complete sudden stop! How about a city sidewalk, the same. I suggest we all are issued baseball bat's to thin the damn herd for cases like this! .. err forget the bat's maybe it should be tasers!
You stop in front of me, I'll make you lock up like a fainting goat. (NOT directed at any particular goat).

While she has perhaps been dealt a strong dose of paranoia, his other point is valid in how sophomoric the causeheads are at a place like Indiana. One needn’t be paranoid to be highly disappointed in how easily duped the woke are and being surrounded by them must be insufferable.
