We all saw Antifa rolling into suburbs and had a talk about that. That's never happened since I've been alive. Terror groups rolling into suburbs and yelling and threatening families in the middle of the night. WTF is that? I know many more people that pack than before that happened.

College towns are diverse. There are kernels of truth to what you’re saying about safe spaces, but for the most part, kids in college towns know, understand and appreciate diversity.

I can...I listened to a Christian talk show and they brought up enemiesinthechurch.com about the Marxism being brought into church. I was like wtf. It's full blown in college towns and profs are teaching it. A guy that lives down the street from me, successful attorney, and now teaching at IU. He is full blown all about it. I debated him and other friends did too. He unfriended us of course. I quit Facebook this is the only avenue I use, but I don't get it at all.

Right wing paranoia seems to be purposely manufactured to misinform. Which is why it's typically based in conspiracy or political grievance (like CRT, which can't be defined so it becomes a feeling when someone accuses a teacher of teaching CRT. It's now becoming which hunt laws in some states).
For example masks have a simple job (stop the air flow for the virus to travel on). A lot of people have died (I personally had two friends die from it, both around my age) or have gotten very sick. That's the reality. The left might overdo it but it's based on a real issue.

Covid hospitalizations....yes that's a thing. Personally I'm friends with two ER nurses and they told me it was an absolute zoo. Ambulances have to get routed based on availability and people are waiting hours and when seen they are quickly checked out and sent along their way.
That's in St. Paul. Can't imagine how a small county hospital dealt with it during a surge.
As far as kids, who are historically the largest super speaders of viruses....kids. (
This isn't just about kids health, it's about them not spreading along with participating and learning about caring for others for a health cause. Kids don't want their grandparents to die or their teachers to get sick. Kids are much kinder than we are.
Police brutality? The black panther party formed on that point alone back in the 60's. Keeping this simple, there's a reason why black communities don't trust the police and are reluctant to call in police. That alone means we have an issue that might have a better solution in police reform.
