I don’t really know how things would play out in the event of nuclear fallout. I honestly have no idea how likely it is that anyone survives or if we’d all be completely annihilated.

That's a bunch of bull. There's a difference in excusing it and thinking they were trying to overthrown the government but the left doesn't seem to understand that. I don't excuse that behavior in any shape or form but I sure don't think they were trying to overthrow the government.
Their primary purpose was to prevent the transfer of power. Technically not overthrowing, close enough for me.

You can't trust the polls and yet the polls are the basis for not ever being able to trust another democrat in your lifetime.
I suggest you look to a guy on twitter named catturd to really help you work through it.
If there were a real threat the country hopefully would be prepared. By being prepared each of us would have an assignment.
For example, when stationed in Germany during the Cold War those of us in the military had specific duties to perform given a Soviet invasion. In addition there were specific plans for the dependents (wives and children) to be evacuated out of the initial combat zones.
The question to be asked is whether the country faces a threat similar to Ukraine.

Back to the OP...Just know this...If we are attacked like the OP said there are two choices you will have to make. You will have to fully commit to #1 if thats what you decide.
1. Fight and kill for your freedom.
2. Give up or get captured and let your daughters and wife get beaten and raped repeatedly, and then be a slave for the rest of your life under communist rule.
Choose wisely.

If America were attacked - and it won't be - then some of us would defend it, and some of us would run for the hills. I expect the correlation between the reality and what people say in a poll asking them about the situation is approximately nil. You can't know what you'd do in that situation until you are in that situation.

Not only that, but his title implies Democrat officeholder- as in "trust". These are just random voters, not people running for office that presumably need to earn your trust.
Polls show that a significant amount of Republican VOTERS feel that political violence to preserve what they consider their "way of life" is justified. Does that mean we should lump all Republicans into the looney tunes category?
