Why I'll Never Trust Another Democrat In My Lifetime

Where's she transferring? I suspect most schools are like at iu at this point.
She transferred to Purdue after the school year last year. Yea it was tough for me. I'm like, I'll support you in school, but I ain't cheering for Purdue LOL. She likes it, lives in a great area, actually right across from xxx. So yes its worked out for her and her attitude is 10 times better.

It’s not about being scared. It’s about being prepared. My kids are prepared for many things and loony extreme lefty’s and righty’s are just a small portion. Lots of threatening behavior around these days.
Threatening is right. I see some of these every day now its disturbing as hell. Crazy, stupid crap that makes you wanna break off your leg in someones ass

Sounds like she made a great choice. Hard sciences not the gushy soft stuff they teach down in Bloomington. My son will be a Cadet. A Citadel Cadet. 2039 enrollment. By then the number of men left in this country will be in the thousands. In his Dress Blues he'll be a leader among them. In lieu of bedtime stories we study The White Book. It's never too early to prepare for success....

Awesome stuff for your son! I hope he see it through.

Soft gushy stuff LOL. My daughter is an award winning artist, so a lot she was going through at IU was design/build/ etc etc. Well see how it goes what she was pursuing at IU was a new degree, kind of a comprehensive design. Different at Purdue more photography/software based. These kids change their minds so time will tell.

Who'd you hire to teach him to be a man? 😇

Lmao. His pronouns will be she/her with purple hair and a nose ring and will attend The Rhode Island School of Design as the last student to get admitted so full tuition will be required
🤣 And you will love him just the same even though it means no new leased car for four...uhhh...six years.

I had a gun pointed at my face in a road rage incident. I literally did nothing wrong. I was in the left lane and this guy comes screaming up on the right lane but couldn’t get passed the semi in the right. He almost hit me. That’s when he went ape shit. I’ve carried since.

I hope you were in the act of passing the semi since the left lane is the passing lane.

🤦🏻 Jesus. I hope you all aren’t serious. I hope this is sarcasm. But yes the car in front of me and I were in the act including the next car back he cut off to almost hit me. 🤨

Of course I'm serious, but that doesn't mean I think the idiot trying to pass you on the right isn't an idiot. Not excusing him at all. I really hate when I'm in a line of cars in the left lane obviously passing a vehicle in the right and some idiot zooms past on the right to try to squeeze into the passing cars instead of getting in line to pass like a civilized driver. I also hate when a car is going slow in the left lane matching the speed of the vehicle in the right lane and creating a jam up of cars that want to pass the vehicle in the right. I'm not going to pull out a gun and shoot the idiot passing on the right or the idiot blocking traffic though. ;)

I wasn’t passing on the right. He came around the right lane from a mile back.

Reminds me when I was behind 2 semis that spent 12 miles trying to pass. I guess that .1 mph difference or whatever was vital for the passing semi to get in the left lane.

This is why 3 lanes is so important. It increases the needed number of idiots for blocking traffic to 3 :)

Think I found an image of the incident :).

Although that sounds like a shitty situation.

Semi drivers used to be a lot better drivers than they are now. I think a lot of drivers were better in the past than they are now. It was helpful that we had driver's ed as a summer course when I was in high school. I don't believe they do that anywhere these days.

My kids are prepared too. They're prepared to be fully functioning adults in society and not shrink away from anyone they might disagree with or not like. That said, I'm not preparing them for hand-to-hand combat or a shoot out.

Your choice. Won’t disagree with any of that. I also won’t disagree with people teaching their kids about guns and gun safety. Neither one of mine have firearms by the way.

To be clear, I think most everyone tells their kids to be careful and know your surroundings. Instilling common sense in kids doesn't mean you're preparing them for an invasion or protestors to take over their house.

And despite your internet algorithms, that kind of stuff isn't happening every day. It's definitely not happening every day in and around where you live.

I've talked with my kids about gun safety and they have the unfortunate experience of going through active shooter drills at school, but we don't own guns.

A big issue now is many companies put governors on their trucks. So, when they go to pass another semi, they can't get enough speed to pass quickly.

And, not to sound like I"m knocking them, but there a lot of immigrants driving now. My cousin, who is a trucker, is not a fan.....

I've never figured out why they stopped offering Drivers Ed in high schools - it provided a lot of employment for gym teachers and coaches.

We have the ability to set speed limits and horsepower ratings.

I played on an all Bosnian adult soccer team for years sponsored by a Bosnian trucking company. It's a good way to make good money for immigrants pretty much right out of the gate.

I guess there are a lot of Indians and East Asians going into trucking now.

No, but it was for a period and during that period there was much uncertainty.

AND, like I pointed out yesterday here in Indy there were killings and one hit close to home with an IU football player. The other thing is one of my employees dad is an Indianapolis cop. His area was down off Michigan where the protests, especially towards cops, because of a shooting got very violent. He was worried for his life daily. It was a f*cked up time period around here ohio. IDK where you live but, I lived that daily, with my employee. He was very stressed out every day and worried about his dad.

It makes sense. You can make $80k fast. And you get to smoke while you work, which is critically important to Bosnians. In terms of benefits more important than even health insurance. Then if you are lucky enough to crash every five years you can sock some dough away for retirement. Trucks are required to carry $750k in min coverage. So it beats working at Panera

***Anyone who wouldn't defend this country if and when we're attacked just needs to do themselves and the rest of us a huge favor and go ahead and leave now...***

Gutless, traitorous wonders...
Polls and discussions about an invasion from a foreign source will undoubtedly help American paramilitary groups such as the Oath keepers recruit more members.

The question I have is, What is more likely a foreign invasion or American paramilitary groups acting as vigilantes [a member of a self-appointed group of citizens who undertake law enforcement in their community without legal authority, typically because the legal agencies are thought to be inadequate] ?

Bottom line is it’s what our experiences that shape our worlds. So what someone else decisions are, are just that. You adjust accordingly. I didn’t go extreme tactical warfare just exercising my right to bear arms. To each their own. I just don’t want to ever get into a helpless situation if it can be avoided.

All valid. Goes both ways. I’m sure any group could be looked at as extreme. It’s pretty common for people to be extreme in one aspect of their life. Some more than others. The internet has fostered them to be a group. Easier access to each other but they also are easier to keep an eye on too.

Then don’t drive 75 to Atlanta. We’ve been doing that a lot. I set the cruise on 80 and I bet I pass more cars when I’m in the far right of the three lanes. People just seem to get married to the idea of getting in the center lane and then never giving it up. You see trucks doing 56 taking extended periods to pass another truck doing 55.

Oilfield guys are making 120k plus driving. Lots of off time too. It’s actually a pretty stringent test since the feds became more involved.

Jeeez we avoided 65 for years and took 75 just to get the 3 lanes. It was a little extra time to get to Florida but it was worth it. We do anything we can to avoid Atlanta. That means Knoxville through Asheville. We actually quit driving and only flew, but a couple flights got cancelled and we ran to the rent a car place before they ran out of cars to drive home. If you go to the Atlantic side of Florida and hit 95, we call it 95 on 95. If you aren't doing at least 90 your standing still :)

We’ve done the 40 to just before Asheville route and then headed down through NC and GA. I don’t like the mountain drive in winter and we always seem to get stuck somewhere on 40 due to an accident in one of the two-lane curve-laden areas. We thus try to do Atlanta on a Sunday.

That's hilarious. 95 is a total shit show, especially in So. Fla. In the lane to the left you can have a new Mclaren, the lane to the right the Beverly Hillbillies car as with no emissions tests and no yearly inspection tests if it runs it runs, and in front of you a Yugo with a dozen Haitians getting ready to stop short so you rear end them
