Biden

I think it could easily be argued that Biden loses politically. If he is serious about running for a re-election then who better to run against than Trump. If Trump isn't the GOP nomination, then Biden's chances go down (how far down depends on who gets the nomination). This only helps Biden politically if Trump somehow manages to keep hold of the nomination.

Desantis

Desantis is having a walk a tightrope of trying to appeal to Trump voters while getting blasted/insulted by Trump. His prospects change drastically if Trump is out of the picture because he can place himself as the next Trump without have to fight with Trump and losing his followers that he would need to win the nomination. Publicly he is back to supporting Trump against his indictments but I'm betting he is dancing in his house.

Haley

Haley hasn't quite Trumpified her strategy as much as Desantis has but obviously still benefits if the leader for the GOP nomination is out of the running.

Depends on replacement. I don't think desantis would be a win because he is not much better. Although he would automatically have a better chance than trump in general election simply due to having less baggage.

DeSantis wins. There was a small, but decent chance that the Republican primaries would devolve into an insult laden screaming match between DeSantis and Trump. The results of which would be A) Trump loyalists staying home in the general election and B) Independents turning on DeSantis seeing him lower himself to Trump's level.
