Where’s Clarence Thomas …and Ginny?

Everything she posts is 24/7 far left politics and then gets offended when someone has a different view and Yes, I don't like the fact she is a teacher because I damn well know she pushes that on her students.
Not a 'teacher'.
Hasn't seen a classroom in years..

Right, because his politics are a conspiracy theory and hers are the truth LOL
Yeah, that was some bullshit she posted about Fife.
Sorry to drag you in this. Feel free to check the free board. People asked what Rabby said and I told them. Checking out now, they can say what they want.
So word of Rabby's post has gotten around, which is not a surprise since the thread is about 60 pages long. I don't read the free board here so I don't know what zeke did or didn't say, but I've read Rabby's post and a great deal of the discussion that accompanied it...

Rabby doesn't exactly wear his politics on his sleeve, so for all I know he could sympathize with what I'd assume Dane's discussion of politics entailed. But the point Rabby made was that the situation bothered parents/players/potential recruits to the point that they complained and Dane was asked to refrain from the topic. And apparently he ignored those wishes...

Another issue that cost Dane his job was the outspoken attitude he had towards NIL. If you followed the recruitment of Kyle Filipowski you know that prior to his visit this past summer he was a huge target and there was a lot of mutual interest. He visited at the same time with Justin Taylor, and although Taylor had an awesome visit and IU emerged as a strong finalist Filipowski barely mentioned IU in subsequent recruiting articles. Many people found it strange and although Rabby acknowledged that IU wasn't really an option going forward he never really delved deep into the topic. However, various posters who claimed connections and insight continued to mention "NIL" and IU screwing it up and turning the family off...

So when I saw Rabby's post last week and especially the characterization of Dane's opposition to NIL being a "concern", I understood exactly what people had meant when they had hinted at the Filipowski visit (and IU's chances) being destroyed over NIL. It was like a light bulb going off, esp since Peegs staff is now officially connected to IU's main NIL proponents who work at producing media and developing various NIL opportunities. I liked Dane as a player and I was thrilled when he joined the staff, but remember that decision was made prior to Woody being hired and it seems the two never meshed.

Rabby also recounted instances where potential recruits/family members reported Dane suggesting that he would soon be the coach and possibly sabotaging Woody behind his back. A similar thing happened when McLeod was Crean's assistant and suggested to Kyrie Irving and his family that they'd rather go to Duke.

I actually had a little insight into that, because at the time I was a member of the Premium UNC board, and UNC fans were hoping that Kyrie would choose IU rather than Duke. At the time Kendall Marshall's (UNC recruit, close to Kyrie) dad posted "anonymously" on the IC board and had documented how the Irving family was feeling and for a while it seemed very positive for IU. But then he started posting that things had shifted and IU was basically out and when I contacted him via pm he told me that McLeod had ruined IU's chances.

He wasn't specific, but later after McLeod was fired and some of the events that had transpired became known, I understood why Marshall was posting that IU was basically out about 6 mos prior to a decision being announced. That didn't mesh with the public perception of how the recruitment was going, but the families were close and he had gone from cheerfully predicting that Kyrie would choose IU to reluctantly telling the fans on the UNC board that he was going to choose Duke. The point is he told me that Crean had messed up trusting the recruitment to McLeod, and at the time I assumed he meant he (McLeod) was just incompetent. It was only later that we all found out he had secretly been pushing Kyrie to Duke all along...

Long story short- you've got to be able to trust your assistant. And from what Rabby said, I don't think Woody felt that applied to Dane any longer...

You’re not even trying now. Must be true that the right does live in bizzaro world.
It’s what Dems do. Racist and Russia Russia Russia before the election. Turns out Joe & Hunter were hidden from Russia Russia Russia ties before the election and now Dems are racist toward Justice Thomas.

Maybe a good idea if your wife is a nut case trying to overturn an election.

If trying to overturn an election proves one to be a nutcase, scores of FBI agents, prosecutors, lobbyists, Democrats, and members of the media have punched their tickets to the funny farm.
Sure thing.

Stacey Abrams says hold my beer.
Remind me of her attempts. What riot did she attend and promote? Or any other Democrats? Finding a hard time seeing a parallel there. Ya’ll are really afraid if Stacey Abrams.

Do you have to riot to try to overturn an election?

Don't think so, sweetheart.

Any other Democrats? Are you serious? Your party has objected to every presidential election in this century.

You just undermined about 100,000 of your own arguments here on the water cooler.

Yeah. In just the last few weeks women's intercollegiate sports has been forever diminished and influential men have been told to keep their wives oppressed. But none of this matters because we also have been told that we don’t know what a woman is.

I‘m glad I am a man. Life is much simpler.

She deprived Atlanta of the all star game and the Hank Aaron tribute.
"If trying to overturn an election proves one to be a nutcase, scores of FBI agents, prosecutors, lobbyists, Democrats, and members of the media have punched their tickets to the funny farm."

So are you claiming the all-star game was shifted because Abrams didn't win the Governor's election? Because I'm pretty sure it's the fact that in a state where statewide elections in 2020/2021 were won by Dems (by between 1.2-2%) or at least tied, somehow the minority party wound up passing legislation that disenfranchised a significant portion of the majority of people who voted for the winning party...

Now how exactly does that equate to Trump (who didn't win a majority of either popular or electoral votes) continuing to overthrow a legally conducted election for the past year? Which was the point zeke was discussing...

Here's a taste of the stupidity on display at the Trump rally Sat night. And this is in addition to the gibberish Trump himself spewed...

This is your chance to disassociate you from the wackiest wingnuts on the board. Do YOU believe Hunter Biden was involved with "bio-labs" in Ukraine? You gonna disassociate yourself from the MTG/Mas anti-Semitism?

All this "Trump tried to overthrow the election" stuff is nothing but another Democratic crock of crap.

Every state has statutory procedures for challenging elections. Even frivolous use of litigation is better than not having it at all, like in Putin's Russia for example.

The Democrats brought a couple of substantially frivolous and highly political impeachment proceedings. Are you willing to say the Democrats attempted overthrow the duly elected President of the United States? Neither am I.

Just put a sock in it Cosmic. Frivolous and unsuccessful attempts to use processes deeply embedded in the fabric of our government is only what it is, frivolous. I don't defend Trump's post election conduct, but I am thankful we have processes he misused. The lack of success is a sign of strength. Quit trying to make it into something more just cuz you are a highly partisan poster.

So is it a crock of crap or not? Didn't he misuse the processes in an effort to overthrow the election? It's the trying that should be concerning; the fact that he failed shouldn't have any bearing.

It's chilling to me there are those who are still trying to whitewash what Trump and Eastman and Hawley and the rest tried to do.

I think COH was talking about Trump’s frivolous lawsuits afterwards as cases of misuse of our procedures.

I can see how that might be the case. It's hard for me to draw a line between misusing the processes involved in trying to stop the certification of the Electoral College on Jan. 6 and misusing the judicial processes afterwards. In either case, his aim was to overthrow the election.

We should try and understand the feelings of the rioters. A riot is the voice of the unheard and the excluded.

Republican lives matter.

Ask yourself if Al Gore tried to overthrow the election/government by conceding, un-conceding, then having lawyers file bullshit lawsuits claiming the he won Florida.

Then ask yourself WHY each state has laws that allow recounts, challenges, etc., and requires them to be conducted in the courts.

THAT is what Co.Hoosier is trying to get you to understand.

Think, Meat. Think.
Try not to hurt the ballclub.

One is insurrection and the other is civil procedure baked into the fabric of our country.

COH is correct in being thankful that such civil procedures exist and carry forward as one of the institutions of our great country. The irony here is COH ignoring trumps endeavors to and role in undermining such institutions of our country left, right and center.

no one believes for a second Clarence didn't know about Ginny's emails regarding overturning the election.

Clarence was using his position on SCOTUS to try and shield those emails coming to light.

and who knows what else.

impeachment worthy, but i'd settle for a resignation.

Dem embarrass themselves daily with sht they are ok with and try to defend.

Pubs embarrass and degrade themselves daily on a whole nother level of scumness.

at what point is defending pure scum more than you're ok with doing all day everyday.

that has to be self humiliating as heck for you.

is there no point you say "the shark has long since been jumped, i'm out"?
