Walker in Georgia

1. Some will likely now predict we’ll win another 4 games.
2. Don’t know how old Carey might be.
3. Hiring your potential successor might not be the wisest move . . .
I'd bet Carey was brought in for just this moment.

Just caught up on the threads. McM got his ass handed to him by Sope. It’s not that difficult to do but sometimes it’s just necessary.
Lmao from another guy with no personality but worse, one who begs for money for a living. Your accomplishments are probably worse than Sope’s. Asking me for bitcoin donations lol

You surely know why a real search wasn’t done? Wokism hitting IU way before it had been identified.
So now wokism encompasses one idiot thinking we needed a minority as coach?

There was no collusion evidence against Trump, but it took the FBI and Mueller 3 years to figure it out.

Remember what Zeke said - just because you're not found guilty doesn't mean you're innoicent!
OJ says hi.

You’ve been called out McM. Everyone was trying to be polite. But we’re tired of your games. You are who you are and we understand.

No need to make any effort to own libz. You all get own all your stupid bullshit. Own it and run with it through the election. Of course you all won’t own it. All you have is Trump Trump Trump.
And all you have is lies because bs yabbuts is your only defense for Trump, gaetz, boebert, mtg, Jordan, Graham, Hawley, Cruz, desantis etc

Let's hear the story behind this.

Circlejerk was hitting you up for money?

Prima facie evidence is not the same as rumors.

Admittedly, I had never heard of prima facie, so I looked up the definition..

based on the first impression; accepted as correct until proved otherwise

So your saying as long as enough people believe something, it must be true?

God damn it, I told you to get out of bitcoin a long time ago.

I knew there was a reason I fired myself from being your financial advisor.

I'm not a lawyer, but I always understood prima facie evidence as evidence that is true on the face of it - like a President's visitation logs that shows he met with certain business partners of the person under investigation when the President says he knows nothing of the person's business ventures.

Video evidence also would fall under prima facie, I believe.

I didn't say anything was true. I'm saying what I said - prima facie evidence isn't the same as a made up rumor, based on a false document, for instance.

prima facie
adjective
Definition of prima facie (Entry 2 of 2)
1: true, valid, or sufficient at first impression : APPARENTthe theory … gives a prima facie solution— R. J. Butler
2: SELF-EVIDENT
3: legally sufficient to establish a fact or a case unless disproved

Ha! Let’s try and get back on track. The board’s circling the drain
It's been down the drain for a long time - longer than I've been posting here.

I only started posting at the invitation of Bowelmania

OJ says hi.
OJ had a jury trial. You convict people based on rumor.
Exactly and he was found not guilty. Which kinda disproves your point. You don’t believe all the evidence in the world that shows Trump’s working with the Russians and Herschel paying for abortion. But even courts don’t always get it right. You can be innocent or guilty , but you have to consider the preponderance of the evidence you are aware of.

What I hear from younger folks is stuff like "less government" and "less taxes" as if it's a birthright without explaining what they're wanting to do, why, and what the trade-offs are. That's a discussion worth having, and I'm happy to have it . . . so long as we don't have the mindless sloganeering that most on this board are prone to . . . like McMurtry.
Lol…I know it’s foreign to you, but some people value their time and money and don’t appreciate the government taking it from them.

Anyway, the reason they are pissed off is because your generation lived beyond their means and the younger generation is going to have to pay for it with higher inflation, higher taxes, less growth, and fewer government programs. Not to mention the instability that comes from the extremely high levels of debt and increase cost; specifically energy, food, and housing.

If you really think the issue is tax cuts, it’s not worth my time having a discussion. We’re not going to agree on anything.[/url]

Now you probably know this, but even though that post you responded to is being attributed to me, I was not the one who made it. Probably got messed up in the staggered quotes thingy, but (IIRC) it was Sope's original post which might have been included within the framework of one of my subsequent responses...

I only mention it because at least one and possibly two of the "likes" you garnered from people like Jet and probably mcmurtry, were based on the fact that they thought you were attacking me. Hell jet probably didn't even read what you posted, he just saw that it was (supposedly) a response to me and threw you a like. That's how he rolls...

We do?

We do . . . might be too little, too late, I'm afraid.

Wonder if Hiller's pay out is coming out of CTA's salary . . . .
The thing that gets me is that they already had Carey on staff, and the first game against UI wasn't enough to convince them that a change was needed?

I do worry about trying to pretend a coaching change will solve the issue. Iuinphilly who is a whiz at recruiting stats pointed out that of the top 800 OL recruits from 2019-21 classes, the Big 10 got 72, and IU got 2. And both of them were in the 700 range.

I tried to fix it, but wasn’t able to do it on my phone. I’m not sure what happened. My apologies, I wasn’t trying to attribute it to you.

Whooosh - right over your head.

You are the one who always says just because someone isn't found guilty doesn't mean they're innocent.

Except when they're Republicans. You're fooling no one.

If we're so successfully pwning ourselves, then why do you make the effort to post so much clearly false nonsense? Why not just take us to task for the facts, instead?

So . . . why did you say that the Davis hire was "wokism"? I was trying to explain the actual reason . . . if you knew that, what is the deal with the "wokism" comment?
I don't know if Davis was, but Sampson was hired in part because they wanted a minority coach to replace Davis.

Or the fact that he’s without doubt one of the best coaches in the country. Shady, but great coach.

The question that needs asking is who is donating to Warnock's church. Are lobbyist and people with business before the Senate giving money to Warnock's church that's then being funneled back to the senator? This seems like a giant conflict of interest loophole.

yet to hear any reason to not support Warnock that actually has some basis in facts and not just looney tune tall tales from the GOP.

Don't live in Georgia, so not like I'll be voting on the matter anyway.

But if it is a choice between Warnock and Walker, I don't think anyone should be questioned for voting against Walker and his laundry list of crap.
What has been debunked? Police were called to a domestic disturbance at Warnock's home. His wife alleged abuse to the police and again in court in divorce proceedings which Warnock had sealed. You are proving Crazy's point. You always justify what your own candidates do.

Best I can do on short notice is a Politifact article (searched for "the truth about Warnock abuse allegations"):

Summary:

(1) No evidence to show he ran over her foot.

(2) Obstruction charges dropped over "miscommunication".

No one denies that Warnock tried to run her over after a domestic disturbance. The only question is did his car miss. The point is she alleges additional abuse which Hickory and a couple others want to deny because it doesn’t fit their preferred political narrative.
