all appearances to the contrary. While pundits and others make obligatory attempts to understand and explain Trump's decisions and behavior, he always acts to make himself feel less inferior. He cares nothing about the USA.

The Dateline expose decades ago clearly demonstrated how he felt snubbed by the New York City aristocracy, as it were. Although he has ever since endeavored to prove he's deserving of their respect, his deep insecurity and lack of self-confidence probably started in childhood, when his father sent him to military school, or earlier, in his vain hope of gaining his father's approval.

How does this play out?

1. He desperately needs to put TRUMP on skyscrapers all over the world. People think he's kowtowing to the world's tyrants and can't figure out why. Because they have his Trump hotels, spend lavish amounts of money at them, or he hopes they will build them sooner or later. This in part explains Putin, Kim, Duterte, and bin Salman among others.

2. He needs to be friends with people in power, but he lacks the self-confidence to make it with A-listers so he takes the B-listers. This again explains Putin, Kim, Duterte, and bin Salman among others. It also explains why he doesn't really need anything in return from Kim, for example. He crossed the border, defying his security contingent. He's the boss. He's important.

3. He needs to have "10s" for his female counterpart but again doesn't have the self-confidence or gentlemanliness for A-listers, so he gravitates to B-listers. This explains his marrying foreign beauty queens and his purchase of Miss Universe.

4. He craves attention. Self-explanatory.

5. He's a racist, salesman, and an American, probably in that order, which creats a complex but understandable look. His father was racist, so he adopts that to gain his father's approval. He becomes a salesman with chameleon qualities in his tireless efforts to gain attention and success. His biggest complex revolves around becoming important in New York City, which he feels he did with his Trump Tower but he wasn't granted access to the inner circles there so he has expanded his goal to encompass the entire US, and he adopts the behavior of those who are snubbing him by snubbing immigrants, which is really what he is within the framework of NYC.

6. He adopts conservatism. His father was so there are his roots. In NYC he grew up in a liberal environment but was rejected so again he adopts the opposite in an attempt to become the King of Something Important. He miraculously becomes POTUS.

7. He makes contrary decisions as POTUS. He has to prove he's important so he undoes anything and everything Obama did. He runs his cabinet as a little mafioso, encouraging infighting at every turn and then invariably makes whatever decision that shows he's the boss. It really doesn't matter what the actual decision is.

His behavior is classical obsessive compulsive on a manic. He can't sleep at night, perpetually in motion, constantly creating conflict. His underlying obsession is to be accepted and he is manically driven by the compulsion to prove he's important.

Nothing he does has anything to do with bettering the country or anyone else.

8. He has the lowest black unemployment in our history! Lowest welfare numbers ever, so I disagree with you on He is not bettering the Country.

Fluke. Accidental coincidence.

I'm not saying he's not right twice a day, just like the broken grandfather clock between his ears.
