Is a one year rental of portal grad transfer Oscar Tshiebwe something people would like? 2nd team all-American, monster rebounder, though not your big man of the future that guards all positions.

Does anyone know if the staff will look/talk to Sparks?
 
So if players are entering portal, where are all the IU players at? So many people on this board are speculating that many are transferring and all I’ve seen is Duncomb. How come the others haven’t started jumping ship?

The season has only been over for a week as of yesterday and it is not even April yet. There will be losts of movement in the next few weeks in the NCAA and my guess is you will see movement at IU as well.
 
I think Woodson is expecting to have plenty of open spots we got mentioned with several new guys again today.

Northern Colorado star transfer Dalton Knecht has heard from these schools per source: UNC Oregon Kansas Arkansas Indiana Missouri GCU LSU Iowa State Oklahoma Utah Washington Nebraska Colorado Arizona State Ole Miss Illinois One of the five best players in the portal.

Tulsa has 11 players in the portal, LIU has 10. 5 schools (Wyoming being the most notable) have 9, and I stopped counting how many schools have 8, 7, etc. 1040 players as of this post.

Updated, and I've added 247 portal rating #s as of4/3/23.

Tamar Bates is at #41 on 247 and 51 on ON3 and JG is not rated (in top 150).

As of 4/3, I don't see LeLoach, Handlogten, and Gilbert in the 247 rankings.

Updated the list of players IU has contacted. 17, by my count, now. I have not seen mention of the 6'9" DeLoach or the 7'1" Handlogten on this forum. Those were recent contacts. It's clear we're looking for a 3rd big if we can find one.

I totally agree, Lets face it too much easier to recruit portal in a short burst than the old way. Waiting for it all to implode at some point when interest wanes . Be careful what you wish for.
