CoH and Indyhorn, this is terrific article about the amazing Susie Wiles.

In reading the article it occurred to me if Wiles has stayed with DeSantis he might very well have been elected as President yesterday. Also some interesting views of Trump in the article, mostly positive

Ms. Wiles appears to be smart, confident, and very successful, but with Julia's help surely she could reach greater heights.

"Strong" in describing women can be very misleading to the point of being misleading.

From what I've read about Wiles this is especially debatable.

I don’t understand how describing anyone as strong is misleading. A strong person is confident, decisive, self-reliant, can take a punch without needing a safe space and more.

Mark Cuban adopted a conciliatory tone and said he would help the Trump administration in any way he could. Susie said she needed somebody to fetch her morning coffee.

I don’t understand how describing anyone as strong is misleading. A strong person is confident, decisive, self-reliant, can take a punch without needing a safe space and more.

The point I was trying to make is that calling a women strong as opposed to calling a man strong isn't necessarily a compliment depending on how you define strong.

CoH, in my view your definition of strong fits both men and women especially as our view of the sexes has evolved over the years. There was a time when women were seen primarily as wives with the strong husbands being the household managers and providers for the family. Men controlled the finances and were the ultimate authority,

On a personal note, my mother let my father appear to be running things and he did control the finances along with providing the income, but by the CoH definition of strong, she was by far the stronger.
