McCulley laughing on the sideline

Newsflash: kids don’t make decisions reading message boards. They do, however, watch how their future team is coached and have some pretty good instincts. Enough to know that the program is a complete dumpster fire under the staffing that currently coach the team. You really need to be concerned about the staff and their utter failure of the head coach.
Since you are such a great fan, I'm sure you enjoyed the last two seasons and can give them a slight pass this year based on the unusually tough schedule and losing the top two QBs. It's not as if we have gone the last six seasons without going to bowl games. It's really hard to tell which posters are actually fans, or those who are Purdue fans disguised as IU supporters to knock everything and everyone connected with the program.

That’s just not even close to the truth. Fans vent because they care and want to see accountability. It’s way too convenient an excuse to just label every poster who points out the egregious dereliction of duties with this staff as an opposing fan.
Those who sugarcoat failures or take the Pollyanna view while a full blown dumpster fire is blazing are not doing anything to stabilize the program either. There are deep issues with the leadership of IU football that go beyond just some bad OL play. The players quit on this staff and defections and de commits are coming. That’s a cultural issue that starts with Mr. LEO. When the staff goes into a game with a “plan” that essentially waves the white flag before kickoff, that’s not a philosophy any kid with a competitive spirit is going to sign up for.

You are just flat embarrassing yourself now.

It's OK to quit when you're behind.

No call for setting yourself on fire too!

You are just plain wrong. I have spoken to parents of recruits and can 100% guarantee you THEY read the boards. You are making up facts to support your anger. Stop it please. Kids DO read these boards and it is just stupid to say they do not. OMG please shut this kind of crap up before any real fan just gives up on this site.

Were you in the military? When things go bad you dont turn on your team...you fight harder. Whining constantly in combat will only get you a bullet in the back of the head from your own squad. I have never been against you...I remember the other you...but the edge is approaching. Dont push me over, please.
This is true I am friends with the family of a high profile recruit whose mother reads message boards of schools recruiting her kid to get a feel for the fan base. It’s not at the top of the list but it’s naive to think this stuff doesn’t matter at all.

We all care how the program is going. We all are upset and disappointed about this season. But we also know there is nothing we can do about it and we have to trust those in charge about the necessary decisions. Only if you are a donor who can spend millions will possibly cause any actions to be taken.

Give it time kid.
You haven’t been following the program long enough. You have zero battle scars. I’d bet that if this were the basketball team, you’d be curled in a fetal position. We all know the lopsided fans when we see them post.

You do know it’s not a crime to be respectable in both. You’ll get it some day.

WTH? He realizes this is supposedly big time college football, right? What in the hell can possibly be so funny in the midst of showing the world you suck, just got benched for a walk-on, and are getting embarrassed by a lousy football team with a bald cheerleading boat rower as the coach?

College Football is hard.

Ohio State, Cincinnati and UTSA, are the only undefeated teams in the FBS.

Each of these teams have won all their B1G games in 2021.

Indiana vs. Purdue

This should hopefully be a hard fought game on Saturday. A true rivalry game.

Didn't a 7-0 Wisconsin team lose to an 0-7 Minnesota team one season, or was it the opposite?

Tom Allen has a lot of work to do. Quarterback play is critical, but you better have solid play at the line of scrimmage.

Hard to believe how fast 12 weeks went flying by in 2021.

Best wishes in the Bucket game!

Do you even follow the game?

Do you think the 2022 season will go by as quickly?

There is a funny story I read in George Plympton's "Paper Lion." Former OSU running back and Heisman winner Howard "Hopalong" Cassady complained about the play of the Detroit Lions linemen when he carried the ball. So the reaction of the linemen was to just not block for him at all when he was the ball carrier.
