Hate to see him go. He was going to get a lot of playing time this year splitting time with Barner and get out of the shadow of Hendershot. I know that we have some guys waiting in the wings but we will be very green at TE. I guess next man up!

Hate to see good guys leave. I heard a sports talk guy say the portal was a way for players to check their money worth. See what a school will pony up for NIL.

significant loss considering his experience and ability, but more so from a leadership capacity.

He was a role player and wasn’t going to take Hendershot’s place as a receiver. But he’s a very experienced player that they’ll miss having around.
