Why would any portal player commit to a school that didn't make the tournament before waiting to see who else is interested after the tournament is over?
Or is this like the last place team getting first pick in next year's draft?

Unfortunately one year with Lee Rose and an almost is all Purdue will ever have as a glory day. Not even the Big Dog,Kemp or Brian lol Cardinal could deliver any national trophy for PU.

Idk that Skye Clark is the answer for a team looking to win soon. At this point, U of L will take any “warm body” who has talent knowing there’s opportunity. His short stint in Illini land, while starting every game but one he suited up for, showed he didn’t like being coached hard for the good of the team by Underwood.

No reason for portal to even be open until tournament is over. Players announcing fine but no reason for allowing actual transfers until season is done

Duncomb for sure is gone Geronimo, Leal, could be gone also. So we could have have maybe seven open spots we need 2 bigs and shooters Penn state grabbed mutiple transfer shooters we need as many as we can get.
