How soon before we know for sure on X, TJD, and Race

I have 0 knowledge how long it takes to get an NIL arranged or negotiated or whatever has to culminate into something enticing enough to satisfy a talent you covet but it maybe has lots of i's & t's to tend to before any announcement. Have to believe all meetings with Coach Woodson, A/C's and players have been over for a couple days. This week? Maybe?
There’s no reason for Xavier to say he’s coming back. Trayce will see what is said at the combine won’t hear anything until then race will probably all depend on if Trayce comes back or not. So unless we hear x isn’t coming back then he’s here to stay and the earliest my guess from the other 2 are may 25th or so, since the combine ends may 22nd
it seems to me that any teams interested in TJD, especially as a 2nd rounder or FA, will be in touch, just to gauge his interest and see if he falls that late, will he leave. I think most of the time, players aren't that surprised as to who picks them because of this.

I think TJD has a good picture of where he may fall in the draft. The main thing is that he is not a first rounder. By now, he has plenty of NBA connections given his relationship with CMW and his biological dad. So on the other side, how important is finishing school, adding to his IU legacy, and what can the NIL bring?
He likely will make a fast decision so that IU bball won’t be in limbo waiting on him. Because that’s the kind of guy he is. Just an outsider view, but I think we will know within 2 weeks max.

my personal belief is that I won't be surprised to see TJD drafted a good bit higher than anyone is projecting him. If a team determines that he can develop a game away from the basket, then they'll know he's a much better prospect than a 2nd rounder and I think they'll have a deal all worked out, that they'll take him, knowing he's agreed to stay in and be drafted. I think that could be as high as the late 1st round or early 2nd, and if he were to declare and stay, that's where I think he'll be drafted.
No way that happens he will definitely go to the combine and that not till may 16th start and may 22nd end. He’s not going to say he coming back then goto the combine and vise versa he’s not going to say he’s going pro before going to the combine
Even the most optimistic mock sites have him as a 2nd rounder. I haven't seen a single one even approach 1st round status. Most of the ones that are generally regarded as reputable and usually more accurate, have him as late 2nd round to 70ish, so 50-70 is a decent range I'd say if the good mock site consensus is correct.
I don't think most of those will have taken into account any boost he might get from how he finished the season. And then any boost he could get if he has a really good combine.
My unprofessional guess...if he stays in the draft, he'll have an impressive combine. He's more explosive probably than many would give him credit for. And I suspect his "measurables" will all be pretty good. He'll also get the opportunity to show a little more whether he can comfortably handle the ball and operate away from the basket, and in transition, at the combine. All that taken in, best case scenario, he bumps himself up to an early 2nd rounder. Worst case, he goes undrafted. The mock sites are probably a little low, I think he'll end up in the mid 2nd round range. There'll be enough teams intrigued with his length and athleticism that someone will jump on him.
Bozich and Morris on the ITH podcast felt he would at least test the waters to see if he gets invited to the combine and to get some feedback. That seems reasonable.
His per 100 possession metrics haven't changed all that much from last year, and I didn't feel like he displayed a much broader skillset this year compared to last. So I would imagine he would have a lot to gain, potentially, by demonstrating a more comprehensive skillset at the combine (if he can).

Unless he develops a midrange shot, he's not a 1st rounder. Late 2nd at most. If he comes back he needs work on baby hook and 12-15 foot shot.
The main source on Btown Banners says X, Logan, and Tamar has all told the staff they are coming back. Says it is just down to JG, TJD, and Race now. Says the word is if TJD comes back Race will as well. Sounds like the issue thean is JG may bolt because of minutes unless he can play the three. Take if for what it is worth not sure if true or not. Did not say anything about Kopp but I got a feeling he will be back.
I would really prefer one or two grad transfer shooters over Kopp. If we return everyone but do not add shooters sure we could be good but will never be able to reach an elite level without any shooters.
There’s also the aspect of needing to develop players for the future.
sounds like we will be playing a number of players in their final year. We’ll have more experience than the Bulls, but at some point there’s going to be a rebuild. Hopefully we win big next year.

I would think a big school, anyone in a power 5 conference, could match that in NIL.
Of course not and the team(s) I'm talking about would want it exactly that way. I think he'll either be taken at the end of the first round or beginning of the 2nd with a guaranteed contract pre-arranged, or he'll be back.
If he goes, I think he will be picked by mid 2nd round at the latest. He showed a lot in the latter part of the season. What we sometimes overlook is that all of these guys have weaknesses that make them a risk as a pick. His length, athleticism, footwork, and hands alone make him an enticing pick early in the 2nd round.
2way players can make $250k but g league players earn about $75k. But the rumor mill around the team is tjd has will have around $250 k in nil money if he returns. Personally I think unless he’s going to be drafted in the late first or early second then he returns iu
I'll bet Race is exploring international options. If TJD doesn't decide until after the combine I doubt Woodson will want to sit out the portal options that long for both him and Race.
Trying to do better than Thompson in the portal would be a huge gamble as there just haven’t been many good post players transferring. Thompson would have been one of the top 5 post players in the portal had he transferred last year.
The guard from West Virginia would be a huge get. Seems we have a lot of interest too. 40% from 3. Tough nosed kid plays good D.

From what I've been told everyone is back, Galloway, Leal, Bates, X, Kopp, LD, and then just waiting for TJD, Race and JG to decide
