How many of you always carry cash?

Those that can, do or did. Those that can't talk about their uncles doing and then stalk kids bouncing a ball and wear lace on their underwear.
How do you know what is on their underwear? #projecting #creeper

When Spectrum changes the remote a your mother can't learn anything new you will see where we all soon will be. Under the radar is not off the grid.
Brother man, I had three grandparents live into their mid-to-late 90's, and my mother at the age of 78 all passed in the last four years. There is no 'you will see', it is I have seen. I graduated. My mother and her parents were all on my cell phone plans so they could have modern phones, which included GPS, the ability to detect falls and a way for me text instructions and/or send screenshots.

I don't ever carry cash.

My wife though has cash on her all the time since she works in the restaurant industry. If a server calls off or they're short staffed, she has to cover so she's always got a couple hundred on her.

So I guess since she's got some cash, I have som.. oh who am I kidding. I never have any cash on hand.

My wife gets her hair braided/done about once every six weeks. It takes several hours. She has learned that I truly enjoy this time to myself so she extorts me to pay for it with shit like "What, you don't want me to look good?" or "I can just let it go and look like trash". Nails too.

Then again, she is smarter than I am. So, there's that.

Dragon Express at 3rd and Eagleson. They just changed owners last week, the previous owners owned it for 30 years. That is impressive for a restaurant.
Wait what they changed owners??? The middle aged Asian on the wak and I always had a good “how you doin man, hello hello”

Damnit!!! And they owned it for 30 years? You sure? A girl I went to school with parents for sure owned it when I was in HS. Just had my 20 year reunion not 30!!!

What about gold bars? And even if you live in a good neighborhood like the senator from New Jersey, I think keeping hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash at home is a little over the top.

If I have less than a hundred in cash I feel naked. Sometimes I’ll have 5-600 hundred. I always use cash, and get paid in cash often.

Cash is king to and old school guy, and if he has something I like, cash gonna buy it!!!

Another weird thing I do is if I go to church and they have a guest speaker or cause that so moves me (little sisters of the poor recently) I’ll dump everything I got in my wallet (except my 2 lucky 2 dollar bills) into the offering tray. Not a better high on earth than being charitable.

A friend of mine saw a man go into a casino in Anderson a few weeks ago with $36,000 and left with nothing. He was not from the US so that may make it alright. He was playing roulette I believe. I am still amazed at that story.

The guy that bought it said they owned it for 30 years, maybe he's wrong. I noted they had computer cash registers, a large monitor with the menu on it, and they had like 4 employees all wearing black Dragon Express shirts. I made a comment the place had changed a lot since last Monday, and this guy said he just bought it and all the food would taste the same. That's when he said the previous owners had it for 30 years, but he could have been wrong. The lady who I believe was one of the owners always working the register knew my order. I'll have to break in the new people.

I couldn't understand the new owner very well. He said that he had already bought another Chinese restaurant in town and he would eventually buy the west side one. So he has ambitions, and seems friendly.

Ok and you’re young, compared to most of us. You are right about the charitable part. I always tip above 20% unless service is bad, but sometimes a person really touches my heart, maybe we haven’t even talked but I make up their story….working mom of three etc. and tip really big. Or last time I was in Bloomington for a week I became friendly with a homeless person downtown. He was reading every time I walked by. I heard his story and next morning gave him $. It feels really good.

A state-chartered bank safe deposit box is the second best place for metals, after a high quality gun safe in the home..

I don’t like casinos. I went to Vegas with my boyfriend and he made me leave because I started crying when he was losing money. Just give that money to me and I’ll come back with a cute dress and bag for tonight instead of wasting it. I’m so conservative . I’ll play in $20 all night. Plus I play on instinct and am actually pretty lucky, but blackjack people get mad at you sometimes for that. Not a fan.

i don't really understand gun safes. when they say they have a 60 minute fire rating what does that mean? after an hour the paperwork i have in there to fake my own death will be burned to shreds?

A 60 minute rating is based on tests wherein the safe has no bottom protection(cement floor), and no block or brick walls(such as a basement corner) to prevent the heat from surrounding the unit.
Location and installation can increase the protection rating significantly. Most 'better' safes use insulated pouches mounted on the inside of the door, for documents, jewelry, cash etc.
Don't buy a Liberty safe.
