Apparently the President has told his Cabinet that they're in charge of hiring/firing/running their departments, not Elon Musk and that DOGE is advisory. That's a great first step.
The other half will be for him to realize the Executive can't unilaterally kill programs passed into law by Congress/President & funded by Congress. Then we'll have a Constitutional order of things again.
In related news, if Trump wants to get his spot on Mount Rushmore, all he has to do is veto any unbalanced budget and force Congress to do its job. That's exercising real power. Hell, I'd settle for a $200B deficit as being good enough for the girls we go with. He'd be the most consequential president since FDR.
