Hahaha. Purdue yet to commit a foul

Very few fouls by both teams. Usually Purdue is in the 1 and 1 by halftime.

Edey had an arm bar ON the guy at the opening tip. Ref tossed it anyway in front of Edey who was screening the other guy before he tossed it. Bizarre.
Not that the opening tip matters, at all.
But at least if you are doing one, do it honestly. It looked like a ceremonial jump. Should have brought in some hollywood star for it.

Purdue up at half. The head scratcher fouls have helped.

What happened to the “Purdue bought more tickets than the other three combined”. They have been chirping about. They have a nice crowd but 25% like every other team. Red (2 teams ) is easily 50%.

NC St can't buy a basket but their defense is keeping them in it. Meanwhile, PU is hitting from outside.

That’s game. NC St several wide open shots. Can’t make shots then you can’t win. Ask IU

If NC state keeps getting those good looks they will win. Purdue doesn’t have that guard that can get any look they want. NC state has 3. Keep it close boys.
Purdue will win this game easily by double digits. They are clearly the better team and will have a real shot to take it all on Monday. If it’s UCONN, I can see Purdue running them out of them gym as well.

I see they found a cute IU coed to focus on. Could just here the guy in the control truck yelling at the hand held guy : “Keep looking you can find one!!”
NC State has had their chances. Two missed bunnies hurt. A lot of PU turnovers, low scoring game.
ugly assed game but pu is the better team

O’Connell tripping on the court & pulling a hammy didn’t help. NC State doesn’t seem very deep.

And Woody is recruiting the portal pot as top Indiana high school talent watch Purdue kick ass through the tournament.
I'd say it's Edey ..And only Edey is the reason.
They have a avge 6'10 center..Their not playing today..
Zero chance..

3 Second Rule:
"The countdown starts when one foot enters the restricted area and resets when both feet leave the area"

3:34 left in the game.... Smith dribbling the ball near the half court line..... Edey is standing at the top left corner of the free throw lane, right foot in the paint.... left foot out...... he stood there for at least 7 seconds.

According to the rule.... BOTH FEET have to leave the lane to reset the count.

They've had the easiest route possibly ever to reach the final... They've only played one team that would finish in the upper third of the Big Ten so far (TN)... They're damn lucky they played a team full of bricklayers today...
C’mon - I hate Purdue as much as the next guy but this is their year. They have a generational big man who is as dominant as anyone I’ve seen in decades. They will win by double digits on Monday because they are playing the best right now.
UCONN will have no answer for the big Asian Sensation.

And, it will be the event that puts the final nail in Woody’s coffin as he had no chance to gain any ground on recruiting after that hits. Actually, regardless of what happens, IU is already in deep shit in this conference.

There are 4 top Indiana kids heading to West Lafayette. Painter is building a something special.

One foot out of the paint, lift the foot in the paint, the count resets.

UConn yet another double digit win. Won all their tournament games by double digit even going back last year.
