Our 4 year old daughter is REALLY into dinosaurs...

My parents (who are really religious) bought her a book entitled: "God Created the Dinosaurs of the World"

We were reading it to her the other night (for the first time) and it depicts Adam riding a triceratops, Eve petting a compsagnathus and Noah escorting two T-Rex's onto the ark. It was not a parody or meant to be funny; it was a serious book. I couldn't believe my eyes...

Do people really believe these things to be true?

As my wife was reading it to her, she was pausing (to read silently) and then making things up instead of what was printed...

The best part is that our 4 year old already KNOWS that dinosaurs and Man didn't exist at the same time.

I posted about some of this stuff from the Creation Museum a couple years ago. It's in Kentucky, of course, close to Cincinnati. It features a pineapple eating TRex, because of course Tyrannosaurs were vegetarians in the Garden of Eden before sin.

People apparently really believe this stuff. Our species is so screwed.
