How is a voter going to assure when it is counted? You can make sure it gets in the proper hands by election day, but then it is left to the local policies on how they are counted, which I am told is Federalism and what the framers intended.

Kamala is an awful candidate. Dems will have someone much stronger than her. The Dems have a strong pool of options. Kamala was a product of the summer climate

My buddy got in with nice chunk of change when Biden was +350 last night. Needless to say he is happy today. Still cautiously optimistic though.

The difference in speed can be insane day to day. I played a month ago and it was easily the fastest greens I have ever played anywhere in the country. Yesterday they were relatively slow. When they are playing fast it is laughable.
Going down to the Carolinas (Myrtle Beach area) this weekend for a vacation. Hope to get 3 or 4 rounds in.

wow I had all but given up, what percentage of the votes are in if you don't mind me asking? when I gave up last night he was double digits down in mich and wisc
Saw an interview yesterday with Tom Friedman and his hope was to have Biden win and have the Republicans retain the Senate, so we'd have checks and balances. He just might have his wish. He said the same thing as you about how a blue wave would be bad and continue to divide us.
I don't think they have shut down the golf course there. Everything is back to normal, just masking and social distancing. My gf has been posted there for a $23billion engineering project up in Tianjin. She is quite surprised.
The senate most likely is 50-50 or 51-49 one way or another, so it would take some strong consensus building / arm-twisting / deal making either way to keep every Senator in line. I'm just hoping it isn't 51-49 GOP. Jan 5th is, I guess, when that likely gets settled, with the GA runoff.

Michigan is really the key one here. It's consistently widening in Biden's favor. It's the only one that's really in play that matters. It's effectively over in he wins here.
The votes counted first in the midwest were day of. At midnight what remained were urban mail-in which is huge for Biden. Wisconsin is 99% in, Michigan is something like 95%. Pennsylvania is 75%, but it is all urban mail-in. If Biden wins that 25% by the same margin he has been winning it, he overcomes that gap. Georgia has about 10% left, all urban. He might make it up but its danger close either way. Most of the votes out in Nevada and Arizona are urban. Right now it is advantage Biden. These states are happening in reverse to Ohio and North Carolina where Biden jumped out early and Trump reeled him in.
