No. I was actually confused over whether you were saying the Admin should prevail on the census question issue (which is defendable,though I disagree with) or whether you were saying you felt the use of Executive Priv to hide their true motives was justified (which I feel is indefensible). Just wasn't sure from the way your post was written,which is why I asked you to clarify. I don't see you as the type of person who would try to defend the latter...

I do feel the census question is politically motivated. I have my doubts that House committees will obtain the documents necessary to prove this, however.

Furthermore, I don't see the Supreme Court forcing the administration's hand on this issue. So as I said previously, Trump will probably prevail. I see the court as being pro executive branch power which fits the Trump agenda perfectly.

Also as I explained in a previous post the census question should be part of the much needed immigration reform. Again I have my doubts about this happening in time to prevent Trump from getting his way.

Cos, I find all this as sad but true, which judging from your post shouldn't come as a surprise.
