President Trump’s knowledge of potential FBI Director candidate's is/ was essentially zero. As would be expected for a first term president coming from outside government.
His initial cabinet appointees and Chief of Staff (who he entrusted with hiring for things like FBI Director) was lead by Chief of Staff, Reince Prebus for crying out loud. They were almost all awful.
Tillerson, Prebus, Mattis, Sessions, Haspel.
These people are jokes. With RFK, Vance and Vivek at his side. Expect these do- nothing, bloodthirsty, shit stains to not only not get cabinet positions but to be purged from government entirely.
